I hate to write any negative comments about anyone but I am really compelled by getting pushed from person to person and department to department. This was my first ever visit to Haynes and I bought bedroom set. What got delivered was not exactly what the Store sales person showed us. The bed had different mattress support system (the one that needs box Spring) and the delivery guys did not know about the support system that the store has on display. The one in store does not need the box spring ... something like what you see in IKEA beds. Now starts my bouncing back and forth...... and wasted time waiting for Haynes I called the store and talked to sales person who talked to his manager and submitted another request to service to fix it. The Technician called me set up a visit. I asked if he understood what needs to be done? I could get from his answers that he was clueless and my weekend was going to be ruined .... And that is what happened 2 technicians showed up and had no idea how to fix the bed and did not bring the other support system. after almost 3 hrs of concocting some fix from the JUNK that they had in their Van and wasting my time and dealing with their frustrations they left with nothing accomplished... I do no have the bed or the room for use... as there is bed with no place to put the mattress.... :-( The started my ordeal to talk to some manager to see if this can be resolved. After multiple calls and fake promises from Hayes to call back. I finally showed up in the store and talked with the manager who after listening to what I went through and talking to the sales person who sold me this POS... offered me three options : 1. They can give me Bunkie Board ( do not know exactly what it is and how it will work) but he said that will be a good option. 2. Give me a box spring to put under the mattress 3. Give me $100 credit and I go get the box spring. He said this needs General Manager’s approval, she was not back till Thus. and He was supposed to email her with the options and she was going to call me... ***** Did I know that he is pushing me to HELL!!!!!!. This lady thinks herself to be higher than the GOD... to get her on the phone I had to talk to her assistant (very nice lady Daisy) many times. And finally when I got through to her Highness lady Devil (Dena) it was just useless. She was not ready to listen and kept pushing me to Service department. Who in first place had no clue what they are doing... And so I still have the POS with me and cannot even return it because she said after 24 hrs in your house it cannot be returned. Technically speaking the bed is not yet fully delivered... what to talk about it being in my house for 24 hrs.. But only an intelligent person can understand this.... I hope if you are reading this then you will think twice before SHOPPING at HAYNES. Go to any other store BUT Haynes.

Haynes Furniture should be referred to the VA Attorney General for violating VA Code 59.30, Comparison Price Advertising Act. I say this after discovering the practice upon visiting the Chesterfield store during the 50% off (minimum storewide) sale. My family decided to look for some new home office furniture for our new home, and did in fact find something we liked. After looking at the price tag, we noticed there was a Haynes price as well as a compare at other stores price on each piece of furniture. When I asked about the 50% off discount, the salesman, AR said that applied for only certain pieces in each department. At this point I was very upset because I felt extremely misled. I walked my family out so I could calm down before walking back in to get clarification from a manager. The manager stated that the 50% storewide discount was applied to the compared to price and not the Haynes price...to which I pointed out that this was false advertising and walked out. I shared this on the companys Facebook page, but they have a tendency of deleting negative customer feedback from what I can tell. Its now been a few days and Ive done some more digging after traveling to several of the competitor furniture stores in the local areal as well as researching online. The Harrison Flats line from manufacturer Strongson (Chinese company) is only offered by Haynes in the state of VA. A quick search online pulls up 2 other furniture stores selling the same line, the closest of which is Mobile, AL...who also sells it cheaper. If I can find this information through casual Google searching of public sites and US Customs records, Im sure the VA AG could build a strong enough case to order the practice ceased and desisted. Either way, regardless of how much I liked the product, they will never get a dime from me.

Final update: Have has the furniture we purchased for a year now. Had held up quite good. Ill change my reading to 2 stars based on the quality and initial sale. Update: So the initial response from customer service below was fast but then he was never heard from again. My furniture finally arrived with no help from the CS agent. This company apparently doesnt take any responses from customers seriously. Due to this and the fact I sill have not received the bolts they were supposed to mail 4 months ago I lowered my review to 1 star. So I see that the one, possibly legitimate, 5 star review gets a feedback but none of the negative comments. Seems typical for this place. We took a chance despite the negative comments and now we see whats true. The sales lady was not pushy and spent a lot of time with us. However, we have been waiting for 2 months to get the rest of our furniture. Theres only been one person in this place that has had a legitimate caring attitude and continues to follow up, thats the sales manager. Not the store manager or the sales rep. Ive had to contact the store many times due to the pieces not arriving on the scheduled time to the warehouse. Its consistently another 2 weeks. They are one of the best companies to work for if you need to learn to say sorry in 40 languages. Im completely aware that Im not the only customer affected which should be another reason that someone should be on the ball with finding out where our stuff is. Its been a huge hassle trying to get the remaining pieces. Due to my issues I can not recommend this store to anyone but if you chance it like we did make sure you work with the sales manager, Milton. Hes the best associate at this building.

This Michelle Bacote. I just cancelled my entire order after waiting 4 months for my furniture to come in. Right when it almost time for me to get the furniture I get a call from customer service telling me I have to pay half for the furniture after I was told I had 2 year financing. To make matters worse I then get a call from the sales rep asking me if I was aware the my sofa (only mind you) was on the truck and being delivered the next day. No one called me about this at all. I was sick and had to go to the store because no one was answering the phones in order to get this straightened out. They eventually told me that my financing was straight for 2 years. However I received nothing from the finance dept. The manager was handling everything, but never once came out to talk to me. The 2nd sales rep (that assisted me with adding the dinette set) was very nice and very helpful. Once I got better I thought about it and felt like I didnt want to go through anymore last minute issues (especially with financing). When I called to cancel my entire order the young lady never even asked me what was my reason for cancelling. As I type this I just received a call from the 1st sales rep that assisted, me asking why I was cancelling my order. Not sure if it was because of the commission she would be loosing or if she was generally concerned. I loved the furniture very much, but if they dont even care enough for management to speak with you about an issue or even ask what was the problem when cancelling, why should I care. I can find more furniture and be treated a lot better from a store that values their customers. So disappointed it didnt work out. Now I have to start over. NOT HAPPY
