I usually dont go to this Petsmart but it was closer to go to today while I was out running errands...boy do I wish I hadnt! I had bought a new harness for my puppy, Mya last night at my usual Petsmart but came home and it was too small so today I exchanged it for the bigger size and that one was too big so I go to this Petsmart with Mya this time to try it on before I bought it. I go in and approach a young gentlemen with glasses and tell him what had happened and what he would recommend me to do since she was between sizes. He tells me theres nothing that can be done about the particular harness I had bought and Id have to buy one just like I already had (which I didnt want to do because Mya, like puppies do, chewed right through it) so I say okay well can you show me some that might be a harder for her to chew through and heres what pissed me off, he goes "idk but I can recommend you actually train your dog and you wouldnt have this problem". I could not believe he had just said that! So since he was not only rude but absolutely NO help I go over and find that they do infact make a thicker harness. But it didnt stop there because I go to check out and the same guy is at the register, Mya sees another dog and gets overly excited like she always does and hes just staring at me like I need to control my puppies excitement. She then smells the treats Petsmart provides and stretches her front paws on the counter to further smell them and the guy wouldnt let her have one because she wasnt "behaved" enough! I will NEVER go to this Petsmart EVER again. I could not believe how rude and mean this man was towards my puppy for being just that, a puppy!

My experience with PetSmart grooming my Silky Terrier was NOT good! I make my appointment, they didnt tell me it would be at least a 3 hour wait. It would have been good to know that, so I could have planned my day accordingly. After arriving on time, I instruct them on exactly what service I wanted. They tell me they will call me when shes ready. No call after 3 hours, so I go inside to see if shes ready. She was ready and waiting, who knows how long in a cage, I pay and they bring her out. The first thing I see is they have NOT followed my instructions. They cut her hair wrong, they didnt remove the hair from her ears or on her paw pads. I could have did as good of a cut around her face as they did. I would not recommend taking your dog there.

I just have to say that while sometimes it takes so long to get through checkout because there can be so many customers or not as many persons handling the registers, there are some staff that I particularly look forward to communicating with when it comes to needs for our pets (fish and dog). I have found that there are several staff at this location who are tremendously helpful. I would say that the determining factor is getting to know the people at the stores you frequent the most. I have not always gotten good or reliable information (even at this location), however once I found the right people to speak with... I was golden!

Was supposed to have my dogs shots given at 330. At 405, i finally went to counter to ask what was going on. The lady that registered me came out, and asked the one sitting at the computer if i had been waiting here the whole time?? Dah, yeah, my time slot was 330. Had to reschedule for another day. Waste of my time and gas, being that I dont live next door. Not 1 person approached me to ask or give me any explanation as to why I hadnt been seen yet. They were NOT busy, as I saw 3 doors open, and only 2 other customers come in and go out. Very unhappy!

This is a typical example of a PetSmart chain store.... plenty of inventory, decent prices, lots of customers, and animal rescue organizations coming by from time to time looking for your help with adoptions. Regularly get our dog food, fish food and even a couple fish from this location without any hitch. Staff is busy, but friendly. We use independent vets and groomers; never wanted to take our animals to a vet or groomer in a big box store, so cant comment on those services. Nice, affordable place to get the food and accessories we need.

Never, ever take your pet to Banfield. Unless of course you want to have to turn around and take your pet to another vet to have everything you just paid for redone because Banfield didnt do it correctly. In addition they try to up-sell you on other services. WHY would you want to buy additional services when they didnt get the visits you already paid for right?

I went to pet smart today to look at the animals but they had almost none. They had one chinchilla and one gerblil. A couple of birds and some reptiles. The plus to My vist is that there was a worker who gave us a lot of info about fishes and good ones for beginners and some that are a little harder to take care of . Overall it was a 50/50 trip.

Not going back for sure. I took my Maltese and my Scottie. The Maltese come out uneven all over, and the Scottie face was a mess. I went back to have them fix the Scottie face, but she look ridicules over all. Thank god the hair it will grow back, I spend $84 and didnt even got a apologia for the horrible job done.

Ive taken my dog(s) to the grooming salon over the past three years and have found there have been some really good groomers and others not so good. If you find a good one, stick with them :-) Unfortunately, the groomer Ive used over the last year is no longer there.

I take my Pit there to socialize on the weekends, and they are very kind and helpful. Everyone loves him and they are happy to let us walk around for an hour while employees come to say hi. They always have the food, toys and treats we need - so its perfect!

They have just about everything. Sometimes, its hard to find what youre looking for, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. Also, they are very supportive of all animal services - adoption, humane societies, etcetera.

This isnt our normal Petsmart, we stopped to grab our pups food on our way home but clean and the staff seemed nice and they of course had treats for out pup so they won him over.
