I walked into the shop on a Sunday after calling and asking if they had walk in hours that day. I brought a few photos with me hoping to get a piece drawn and completed or to set up an appointment. When I showed the artist what I wanted, a black and grey pair of roses that had a lot of detail, he explained to me that tattoos with out thick black lines would fade and stretch. I thought that was bogus, but asked him if he could show me an example, or let me see portfolios just in case I was misunderstanding. He handed me a laminated, numbered card with cartoon styled flowers, then went on to explain with out the thick outlines the tattoo wouldnt heal right. He also let me know their artists didnt have portfolios in the shop because folks were taking pics out of them. (I checked their site, not much there either) I have other tattoos that are mostly covered by my clothes, so I suppose he thought I might buy that bullshit sandwich, or he really believed what he just spewed to me. Bottom line, this artist was gifted at a certain style, not what I was looking for, but instead of telling me he wasnt the right artist for the job I got an outright lie. This place was like a tattoo McDonalds, ummmm yes a number 4 please with a side bullshit please.

My sister and I went here to get our first tattoos after much research and consistent recommendations from friends who all had great experiences here. The location is easy to find, very clean, friendly, and knowledgable. Our artist was Greg, he was very patient and understanding of our nervousness with getting our tattoos. He talked us through everything, he explained what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. He also helped keep our spirits up with some humor. Overall my sister and I had a great experience getting our first tattoos here and plan to go again in the near future for more!

Got my first tattoo done here by Dennis. And then my other 3 and plan on coming back to Dennis within a few weeks for my newest addition. If you are looking for someone talented, professional, super sterile and if youre looking for the best quality tattoo and fast then hes your guy. The other guy (Ryan) that was in there is super cool, professional and friendly also. However there was a guy in plaid that was a little rude stationed on the right side of the shop in the back all the way in the corner. Other than that everyone is cool and awesome. Would highly recommend Dennis.

Very clean and helpful. The new owners are really nice and have renovated the space. The tattoo I got was clean , bright and healed really fast with no scabbing or problems. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting a great tattoo at a fair price. I checked a few shops in Va Beach and they wanted over double the price so I drove a few miles and saved a lot of money, and bought a tattoo for my friend with the money I saved!! I wont go anywhere else now!!

My Experience was amazing. My tattoo artist was Steve and he worked with me on getting exactly what I wanted for an amazing price. His wife, Annette, worked on my neighbor and she did an excellent job on redoing a tattoo he already had. I would 100% recommend this place for your tattoo experience. Soon this place will be Electro Magnetic Tattoo so you know in advance. Thank you again Steve and Annette for the amazing work you both did!!

The whole entire time I was in the shop the artist seemed to not be interested in my business. The artist stayed on the computer the whole time I asked questions and explained what I wanted done. I can count on one hand how many times the artist made eye contact with me; the artist was not helpful at all and was very standoffish. Lets just say after my five minute visit I left the shop very pissed and uninterested in their service.

My wife and I went in to get a tattoo and ended leaving with 2 each. Dennis was our artist and he was extremely friendly and gave us a great price for what we wanted. He was very patient with us when having to adjust the size and location of our tattoos. I would highly recommend this place and specifically Dennis if in need of a tattoo. They dont do piercing which is fine cause then they can concentrate on what they do best.

Ive been to tons of tattoo parlors but this one is without a doubt my favorite and will continue to be. The hospitality, the vibe, the entire experience just felt like home. Ginuwine great staff. My first tattoo and was really anxious about it....want a very small one....Ive seen many menwith large tatooes and mine took up my whole lower back...it hurt but I was a trooper...thank u Ryan! Will show when it heals! Our awesome and I love it! Thanks Electro-Magnetic Tattoos! Its beautiful!

I went there on 2 different occasions with 2 friends, and it was a great experience both times! The artist Ryan, was amazing! He was very nice and made it a very pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this place to everyone!!
