I have to say that from the moment I walked in until the moment I left I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I was in town visiting my son who just came off of deployment and there was a tattoo I had been wanting to get done for a number of years. Being back in a Navy town/area I just got that hankerin to get it done while I was here. The art work that I wanted done had a lot of fine detail work in it so I went in a couple of days early and they took the time to find what I needed, drew it up and when I went in they had the perfect piece ready to go. Steve did my tattoo, and was great. We sat there for three hours, and if I needed a break I let him know. We could sit and talk, joke and there was never a problem. Someone mentioned the young gal at the counter.... What a sweetheart. It didnt hurt that she was as cute as could be either. Ian did the research on my tattoo. It was a team effort. The shop was as clean and comfortable as I have seen. No, they dont have all the tattoos you can choose from on the walls. The reason being is that if you want it, more than likely they can find it, or if you have something you have drawn they can work from it. This is ART, not your grandpas or dads sailor art anymore. The web has made it so you can personalize anything. Go in, check out the portfolios of each artist and see who you like. When I left, Steve made sure I had complete after care instructions, and if I had any questions he made sure I was clear on anything. Im not saying that there might be an occasional drop in a customer service moment, but remember that how you respond to an issue is going to determine how that gets handled. We all make mistakes at times. Fuzion is definitely worth checking into. When I come back into town, Ill go back for more work. Thanks again to everyone in the shop.

Future pierced-bodied beware; their master piercing (a guy with tattoos on his face) cannot determine the correct gauge of a piercing and has an ignorant attitude. My story follows: I went here after having my nose ring taken out for surgery..the hospital forgot to give my ring back. I am new to the area and found this studio via Google maps. I simply needed a ring so just picked the shop randomly. Anywho, I went in specifically asking for an 18g ring or stud to place in my nose. The piercer was outside smoking and assured me that he could "hook me up". I told him the gauge, he looked at my nose, and when he was done smoking he went inside. He handed me a 16g ring. I asked him if he was sure, considering I knew I had an 18g piercing. He said yes, your nose is not 18g. I was confused and the girl started ringing me up. I asked him again, he confirmed and retreated to the back of the studio. I felt uneasy at the time of check out and asked two girls at the register to have a look and got them to run to the back to ask him again if he was sure because I was confident the ring he was handing me was too large. He said that he was sure.. which had me doubting myself. I checked out, bought it, and then noticed a ridiculous, arrogant poster on the front desk. I knew I had made a mistake and should have gone elsewhere. Of course, the ring didnt fit. It was too large. This guy should not be piercing people and he should certainly let go of his ego and hand the customer what they ask for. I went back, complained, and gave them the ring back. No refund.

I walked into the shop on a a Sunday to see if I could get a rather detail heavy piece done. The man behind the counter looked at the piece and let me know right away an appointment needed to be made (I was expecting this). He asked me questions about color, placement, and style. After all this he recommended a few artisits, and gave me their portfolios to browse. I ended up with Chris, because the art I wanted was a pair of black and grey roses on my chest and arm, and he clearly had the skill to pull it off. On my appointment day he drew and polished the art until I was totally happy. The entire appointment took over 5 hours, but he was engaging and in good spirits the whole time. I know his back had to just aching from being in a consistent position for that long, yet he still gave each detail the time it deserved. In the end the work was impeccable, with precision attention to detail. Chris cracked me up with his good humor which helped make the five hour sitting seem easy breezy. The shop and staff have a good vibe and reminded me of a entertaining family. I felt comfortable and welcomed, informed, confident in the hygiene/ skill of the artist and totally satisfied with the tattoo. Chris has a customer for life.

I spent a long time thinking about what I wanted to get for my most recent tattoo and almost as long looking for the right artist to do the work. Right before I got the work done and made my final decision I went to the Richmond tattoo show and the shop that was coming home with all the Trophies there was Fuzion, and specifically it seemed to be two artists Sean Karn and Gabriel Cece. I had been following their work since before Fuzion when they were working at Blue Horseshoe tattoo. So I spoke with Gabriel as his work was most in line with what I was looking for and let me just say I couldnt be happier with the Tattoo I received, and the professionalism with which he performed the work. It took approximately 24 - 26 hours to complete so I spent a lot of time in the shop, it always looked clean and the staff treated me with respect and acted professionally every time I went in. Almost a year later I still get nothing but compliments on my tattoo and it looks fantastic. I feel like if your going to have a tattoo for the rest of your life you dont want any hack artist doing the work and the guys there know what they are doing, some of the best artists in the area.

I had a drawing of a tattoo I wanted and I called a week before I wanted to get it and they informed me that I would be able to walk in with no appointment needed. I called again the day before I wanted to go and I was told to call before I wanted to come the next day to make sure there was someone available to do walk ins. I called in the morning and they assured me that they were accepting walk ins.. so I headed over and stood at the counter for 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged.. she told me that the guy who does walk ins left (3 hours before the shop closed) but that she would go to double check.. she took my drawing and headed in the back to see if anyone could do it.. or should i say wanted to.. to which she came back 2 seconds later and promptly said, "no." I asked if I could make an appointment and she told me that I would have to schedule that a week in advance but I could call for a walk in again to see if they were accepting them.. but why bother if they tell me yes and when I get there the guy is gone? Theyre pretentious and they obviously didnt need or want my business. So dont bother dealing with them, take your money elsewhere!
