I would give this zero stars, but its not an option. We made the mistake of going to this Verizon "retailer" instead of an actual Verizon store to upgrade and purchase new iPhones. Since it had been so long since we last upgraded, we were told we are eligible for free jetpacks (mobile hot spot). After repeatedly declining because we knew we would never use it we eventually accepted because, after much pressure and explicitly saying, "we dont want to pay for them," the salesman flat out said they were a "free gift" and that we would not be charged. Lies. Seriously, we went back and forth numerous times because we did not want to pay for them. They will say anything to make a sale, knowing that you will, in fact, be charged monthly for "access." We are now being charged $10/month for each jetpack (we have two) for two years unless we terminate our plan. Over the course of two years this is nearly $500 for something that has not been out of the box in yet (weve had them for seven weeks). My husband called Verizon who apologized and recommended only going to an actual Verizon and not an authorized dealer because there is nothing Verizon can do since they didnt "sell" us the product. We should have know by the pushy and insistent salesman to accept them. Drive down 29 to go to an actual Verizon, it may take more time, but at least youre not throwing away money from shady sales tactics.

So had such a good experience here Im writing my first review on my new tablet i received after upgrading. I came into Verizon and met with sales rep john felt i was paying to much and he showed me how i could save money on my monthly bill and even upgraded my phone plus also got me a new tablet at low price i couldnt even believe. So not only am i saving money i also got a new tablet and phone super happy definitely recommend this Verizon store they know how to help their customers.

Great customer service! Employee (Corey) was knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and efficient. Its definitely worth the 15-minute drive from the UVA campus if you or your student needs help/support. There was a nominal fee, $10, worth every penny! My daughter had dropped her phone, shattered the glass; he helped with the backup, restoring contact information, and reactivation of the replacement phone. Thank you!

Visited this store while on my lunch one day, was afraid I wasnt going to get done in time but Tim definitely took care of me! Was in and out of the store in no time at all definitely the best and quickest service around by far If you get a chance to stop by and see Tim he will go above and beyond and out of his way to help you with even the smallest problems!

The greatest customer service! Corey was amazing. I had tried to upgrade my phone at a DC Verizon location and they were totally unhelpful and passive aggressive. Corey, however, was 100% customer-first, professional and warm. We were in and out in 10 minutes with all our needs perfectly satisfied.

The staff here is phenomenal! There was no wait and they took their time to explain everything to me in depth. They even helped me get a galaxy tab that synced perfectly with my new Samsung galaxy s7! I highly recommend visiting this store over any store in the Charlottesville location.
