It must be hard for Pantops. Its a low-rent strip mall, but it is a dying breed here. Its a necessary place here in Charlottesville, providing some deep cuts in prices in the Dollar Tree and Food Lion, while nearby Whole Foods, elegant city-block style shopping, and elite dining are all looming. Meanwhile, Cville needs low cost shopping, because not everyone here is in a startup or has free flowing moneybag trees. So, from the outside, it does not look like much, but as someone who comes here regularly for staples, Im always thankful for it.

Tuseday mornings and Virginia ABC is where I visit. This shopping center has two Oriental cuizine restaurants. I like shopping at roses and Family Dollar. This is a great place to meet at a fast food restaurant or to just pick up a few things you need for the house. Pantops is large, you can find DMV sticks

This is a classic strip mall. It has Giant, a hair Cuttery, and a couple of other stores. Sticks kabob is a nice place to grab lunch. The pizza place is great. Parking is easy and overall its a nice strip mall.

Lots of stores, vet, car rental, pack and mail, hair dresser, groceries, nice places to eat. Easy access with plenty of parking. On city bus route.

Food Lion is the only place I visit. Just as normal as any other plaza. Subway,ABC,HR block are some other stores here. Not clean.
