this place horrible. i went in here twice, looking for prom dresses, and each time my boyfriend gets told to leave the sitting area of the fitting room. the customer service people are rude and so is the mangers. i WILL not be purchasing anything from here again. i think its very discriminatory when other women can have there boyfriend husband fiance or whatever in the sitting area but mine is asked to leave. i was planning to buy some prom dresses for pageants and prom but i guess rudeness is more important than helping the customer. your not going to see me in my dress so your opinion does not matter.

Found some some clothes that fit and were what I was looking for and at a reasonable price then got a further discount at checkout. Really good service from Gail at the jewelry counter and I appreciate that I didnt have to stand in line at the regular checkout. Also it was very easy to return an Internet order that didnt fit to customer service. So glad Penneys is near me.

They dont staff enough people to deal with customers. 3 cashiers? 10+people in line? One goes on break while the other vanishes after seemingly not knowing the difference between rolls of quarters and rolls of nickels. It was slow as can be with three cashiers, but with only one customers started leaving their purchases behind and going elsewhere.

The best JCPenney store Ive been visiting is the one located in Charlottesville, VA. I had a bad experience in the Staunton, VA. My husband bought a ring in goldand diamonds. I We put a lifetime warranty. After two years my ring started change the gold. We went with the warranty then they said that the receipt wasnt for

I always have to order online because they dont carry TALL sizes in the store and I end up having to return a lot. Then there is always a huge line because only one register can deal with online orders. It used to be all registers. Plus the staff is generally rude or very short tempered.
