We were passing thru Front Royal and stopped here because a General Store normally has a lot of unique things and they did not disappoint us! I found something for my son that Ive been trying to find for 2 years. Fabulous assortment of jeans, boots, gloves, cast irons skillets, tripods, old fashioned candies, etc. we will definitely make it a point to stop there the next time we are in the area.

Very very rude people. Very prejudice!!shame on you. We are avid hikers. They wouldnt help us with anything..over priced..junk has been in there forever..has dust over everything..clothes and boots. Even rhe food was bad..dont go..appalachian outfitters in downtown Luray is the best place..people are nice and dog friendly. Screw you Stokes

Great place. Come in and treated like a friend. Huge selection of boots from work, biking, hiking, hunting, and cowboy boots. Place has it all, candies, jeans, hunting knives, clothes, hats aged cheddar cut fresh from the wheel, ammo and the list goes on.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stokes sells a huge assortment of name-brand boots, clothing, camping goods and everything for horsing around. Great prices - great service! Oh and lots not forget the huge selection of bagged holiday candy yummmm!!
