Always have a good experience at Food Lion. Our Food Lion in Bowling Green Virginia had just been renovated and its awesome. They have put a lot of different foods on the shelves. I happen to be a person who has Celiac issues. They have a lot of foods for celiac people. The produce is better and they have more selection of better Meats. They are still in the renovation process but its looking great inside.

I gave it a generous two stars, since its possible there might be a grocery store even worse; perhaps in a third world country. We usually drive approximately 35 mins to shop, except in extreme emergencies. The selection is terrible, what they do have is questionable in quality, and Id be shocked if someone hasnt been assaulted either inside the store or on the property.

Not as awesome as it used to be. After the remodeling, many of their specialty and organic items disappeared. They even recently removed from their stocks dairy-free coffee creamer. As someone who is lactose intolerant and uses coffee to recharge everyday, non dairy coffee creamer is a necessity!!

The store used to look terrible. Theyve started renovations the past few months, and the store looks much better now. The people are very friendly here.
