Not a fan of the new Weis in Salem Fields. The prices are much higher that weve experienced from Food Lion over the years and the products are pretty much the same. I would maybe understand if they upgraded the store some, as this store has never had much for fresh seafood (still unchanged), thats not the case. All that has changed from the customers stand point is a new store name and more money out of our pockets...

I was worried when Weiss took over Food Lion. I enjoyed all the sales on meat Food Lion had when they were close to the sell by date. Weiss also has these sales but they only take $3 off instead of 50% off. However theyve had some really good sales on beef standing rib roasts and boneless pork loin lately. I only docked a star because the store layout changed and Ive been having some trouble locating some products.

Disgusting. Stopped to get a rotisserie chicken. Bought "wonder" chicken. Seriously the worst chicken Ive ever had, absolutely inedible. Dry and greasy at the same time, smells like latex paint. One bite and i was done. Its hard to make chicken inedible.

Better than Food Lion but not as nice as Giant food stores. Giant food has a larger selection. Watch prices, sometime Weis is higher than upscaled grocery stores.
