The cashier was upset he couldnt get an item to scan and started ranting about "hating when they send us the wrong product". He asks me "how much is this?" So i told him and he proceeds to have trouble entering it. Trying to be empathetic, i said , shouldnt they send it back if its the wrong product? Thinking that receiving could do before it went on the shelves. The cashier immediately barks back, "is that what you want me to do? Im behind already and i dont need this!" Seriously?! I know its a cashier position, but hire people that are mature enough to handle the job you hire them for without having a meltdown and taking it out on your customers please.

This place is great, its like a Trader Joes for Utah, low prices and high quality with a company that pays its workers well and gives them ownership in the company, and it shows, they are very friendly. I love going here to get groceries of all kind, but especially bulk chips/candy/soda to fill up my vending machines at work, I dont sell enough to get wholesale prices so I have to shop retail for my machines and Winco is the best place to do it. Its cheaper than Walmart, seriously.

I like WinCo. Its chill, although a little confusing, but the prices are unbeatable, quality is pretty chill. Its on par with your typical health food stores like Sprouts and Whole Foods, without the good looking patrons or employees, or the nice shopping experience. So as long as you dont mind walking around a Costco-esque location for good quality and prices, I recommend it. Also, make sure to bring a debit card, they dont take credit.

Great grocery store. Good discounts and plenty of choice for food. There is a section where you can get cereal or candy or pretty much anything per pound...you put in a bag as much as you like and label it-thats it! The only thing is you have to pay cash or with a debit card - no credit cards are accepted. The meat department has pretty good deals as well...their sandwich meats are good as well.

Today my husband and I were accused of stealing because we were checking a type of meat that had a sticker across the cut type. We most definitely will not be going back to this winco! When we talked to a manager she basically dismissed the fact and was indifferent to the situation. Low prices are not worth dealing with hateful and inappropriate behaviors.

This is my favorite grocery store. I come here for all of my food shopping. However, I come here for only food shopping. The prices on other things like cosmetics and dog food are steeper than they should be. The lines are always long, but they do have self check out. The store is clean and well stocked and the staff is friendly and excellent.

I hate this place nobody should ever go there. Theyre overpriced and every time I wind up leaving theyre paying way more than I thought I would even though their prices look good. All theyre good for is produce (Fruits and Vegetables) everything else sucks dont get their meat it tastes like it was never alive.

Great prices, this is where I get most of my grocery done. Friendly staff and good service. Only thing I wouldnt buy here again is there go to roasted oven chicken, Ive bought it here twice and the meat has been undercooked, but other than that this is a great place to do grocery shopping.

Love the food prices here. Non foods are a bit higher than other stores. I would still choose winco over Walmart or smiths any day. Staff is typically very helpful. Love the bakery ! The Dutch crunch rolls and French bread are great. The meat dept is really good. The produce is ok.

This is the best store. It is super clean and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They also have great prices and a nice selection of items. I will be doing all of my grocery shopping at Winco! I cant wait to see more Winco stores along the Wasatch front.

I love this store. I think most things are cheaper here than anywhere else in the salt lake valley, with the exception of stores like NPS. It is worth a little extra gas to get there. A word of caution, they dont take credit cards, just cash and debit.

Absolutely ridiculous that they wont accept a visa gift card. Their strawberries always mold the very next day, whether you put them in the fridge or not. Their bananas are so under ripe that they never get ripe and just go straight to brown.

Same great prices and quantities as in Oregon. While vacationing in Salt Lake City, we tracked down this Winco for the savings and familiarity. Was surprised there werent more stores in the SLC area. This is great savings people!!

Winco is out of our way, but we buy diapers here exclusively. We save at least $10-$15 each time we buy Winco brand diapers over Pampers or Huggies brands. They also have great food! Sort of a mix between a Costco and Macys.

Always come here. Love it! Heather really bugs me though. She just STARES at you the whole time youre checking out your stuff. Like dude, youre creeping me out, stop freaking staring at me. Shes really awkward, and kinda rude.

Great except for the east side entrance. Hard to get in and many wrecks trying. I got t-boned myself while sitting in the entrance by an impatient person coming down the shoulder who swerved into the entrance

Love shopping here! The prices are cheaper and there are more cashiers open so the wait time to pay is less. They also have self check-outs which are convenient for shoppers that buy a few items.
