This grocery store has fun, interesting and different foods for a good deal. They also sell regular grocery store items at fair to low prices. They have seasonal items, clothes and household items. Be aware of the expiration dates on the food items, they usually sell super cheap because they are about to expire or just recently have. I have havent had a problem with food going bad, even after expiration dates, but am careful on how long after expiration it is before I consume it (depending on what it is: cereal longer, yogurt not so long). It is fun to shop here because they have their consistent foods, but they also have a variety of "different" foods that are fun to try out and you never know what theyll be until you get there.

The thing about Grocery Outlet is you never know what they are going to have when you go. This is a blessing and curse. You can find some offbeat interesting items and go back a few weeks later and they no longer have them. This is also part of the appeal and fun. Every time you go there is some kind of surprise waiting for you, The staff is always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is their meat section leaves a lot to be desired. I will no longer buy meat there aside from bacon or sausages etc, as the packed beef and hamburger are really poor quality. The place can really save you lots of cash if you shop with discipline and dont fill your cart with too many neat discoveries.

This place has been horrible the last couple times I went. Items mispriced on shelf and at register wont be honored. Went in today and all freezer items were defrosted, an employee told me there freezers stop working a couple times. Meaning all items including seafood were defrosted then frozen a couple times. Today the Salmon in freezer area was warm to touch but they were refreezing all the seafood and bag veggies.

Love this place! No matter what were shopping for this is the first place we go. Prices or hugely discounted. What Grocery Outlet does not have we will then get somewhere else. The savings is so great it is not an inconvenience.
