Dont usually make comments about a store but felt compelled to this time. I love most Harmons stores in Utah. They are clean, friendly , and have extremely high quality products. I have a part time job that has me doing sampling demos for a local companys products that are sold in harmons and other local grocery stores. I came to this store recently and was taken aback by how abrasive ,and at one point rude, their "head foodie" Vickie was. When I arrived to set up she demanded I show her my food handlers permit ( which is not legally required in Utah for the type of product I was sampling) and then told me where I could set up. After I set everything up she came by my table and criticized me for having a stool to sit on and having a drink nearby. She told me I need to hide the drink under the table . She did all this while I was in the midst of interacting and talking with customers. It was extremely rude. Now I understand every store has a particular way of doing things, but there are more effective ways that are kinder and less abrasive to interact with people. I have never had a similar negative experience at any of the other Harmons stores Ive worked in. Once again I have no problem with this particular stores rules on sampling ,just the manner in which they were communicated to me.

went to go get some deli meat, like I always do at this harmons. I always get my chicken "shaved" so I went and I asked for a pound of it shaved. The girl that was working had an annoyed look on her face and said "ugh, it took me forever last time" (she was there last time I went) I didnt know what to say, she made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. She showed me a piece of the chicken to see if it was sliced okay, I said yes, even though it wasnt, just cause I didnt want to inconvience her. She gets done and says "it didnt take me forever this time!" Yeah, because it wasnt shaved? Ive never had a bad experience at this harmons, up until yesterday. The meat there is expensive, so Id at least like it shaved the way I asked, without feeling like Im inconviencing someone.

Look the store is good and beautiful. But i think they should be more packed than what it is. This is west valley onebof the most populated cities in all utah if not maybe the most populated. I think what has them not so full is probably because they are always asking for donation this donation that. Its good but nowadays its hard to trust where does our money really go to and especially when west valley is more of a low income city. But i think they are worrying more about having a presentable store than actually trying to have the customer buy stuff like the other stores.Other than that great job guys

I am new to utah, fresh from wa state. I had trepidations about the area in general and the staff here has always been super nice. And not in that annoying fake way that makes your skin crawl. The prices are usually more than I care to spend (theyre on part for wa state and Ive gotten used to the less expensive options at other stores here) but its convenient and clean. I also like the convenience of the post office inside the store.

They always have balloons, live plants, post office and pharmacy. The only place that has $2 huge artichokes when they are in season! They also have a deli section. AND for dog lovers they have a dog cookie area. The only complaint for me, is price, and rewards. You have to buy a ton of things to recieve anything free or any gas points, smiths Is better in this department.

"Not normal" is correct...talk about abnormal. Ive never shopped at a store that refuses ALL fresh food returns, requires receipts for like exchanges even when the food purchased was 100% rotten, etc... They only care about their profits it seems, but with policies like this, were going to shop elsewhere, like Reams (my fave), Smiths, Maceys, Walmart, etc...

Wow just got a cake here. Spelling was off, one of the dads picked it up so he didnt open it. Called to talk to manager that lady was so rude worsted service said it was dads fault not there. Why do u fill paperwork out then misspell what is put down. Then the manager started to to put me down and talk down to me big woman on phone. NO SERVICE ANYMORE!

The store is fantastic. The lines are short , the staff is great, selection of food is amazing, and fresh. I shop here only because of the amazing selection ; but, because prices are so high I also shop elsewhere. High prices is reason for 4 stars.

I shop at the West Valley and West Jordan location several times weekly. Great service, great salad bar, great olive bar, bread and cheese selection is excellent. Love the fact that they stock organic and local agriculture!

I have always liked shopping here. The staff is friendlier than at other supermarkets. The store is usually clean and well stocked. Overall, this is the best place to go for grocery shopping.
