This place is great for grocery shopping but their eatery has seriously gone downhill!! The coffee bar is still good though. The main barista girl is sweet and makes it a point to talk to me, remember my name, listen and care about the conversation! Her name is Bridgid. Shes wonderful! This location also changed the price on making your own sandwhich from $7.99 to now $10.99! And you only get about half the size on the sandwhich this way, rather than if you go with one of the sandwiches thats already on the menu. Its like youre being punished for wanting something different than what they offer. Their Asian bowls are completely flavorless now and the noodles are either hard, not cooked throughly, or overcooked and mushy. Forget about the orange chicken pre-made bowls. .YUCK! Its like they put in McDonalds nuggets and are trying to pass it off as Asian Orange chicken bowl! Be prepared for a serious gut-ache after eating it! They took out the taco salad bowls with the spicy cajun chicken and now its boiled flavorless chicken and you cant make your own tacos, its only whats on the menu: street tacos. Yuck! I ordered 2 pizzas at $13.99 each and each added topping after cheese is $1.99 each. So I got a cheese only and the second pizza I ordered chicken and Artichoke. They got the all cheese correct but the second one they put chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. Not my favorite. So I took it back over and told the kid it was wrong. He wanted to argue with me of what I ordered! Another kid came over and corrected him. So he had to make me another pizza. This time the toppings were correct, but it was burned on the bottom, and doughy throughout the whole pizza! Guess I should have made my own at home. (Which I do from now on.) They took out their homemade ice cream and put in these nasty little ice cream dropplings! Theyre like eating ice cream bites covered in rubber! What has happened to this place!? Its so sad. And their salad bar isnt even freshly made anymore! Its like they dumped it out of a can, or a frozen bag, stirred it together, heated it in a microwave and call it "freshly homemade"...guess they dont know what "Homemade" really is. The only Whole Foods Market left that Ive been to that has a GREAT eatery is the one in Boise, ID. They have an awesome grill restaurant upstairs and totally worth the price! Wish they had that here in Salt Lake City.

Disappointing each and every visit. I have been a loyal WF customer for nearly 10 years now. But after to moving to Salt Lake City and being dissapointed each and every time I visit this store I think I am giving up on continuing to shop with you. The store here never carries any of the WF staples that I have become accustomed to at other WFs. Such as quality fish, ground turkey thigh, organic milk in a glass bottle that is not ultra-pasturized, organic bulk nut combinations, and now fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. The staff here continually makes excuses why they are unable to meet WF standards such as blaming the location of the store, the clientel, etc. Overall the staff are not too helpful either compared to other WFs. This WFs has to be the worst one in America and I have been to WFs in over 10 states and cities.

Even though Whole Foods is pricey, I still love it. It is one of the only grocery stores I can go to and make a single trip, meaning I dont have to run all over the place just to get a couple of the specialty items I know I cant get at the regular store. But I know I can get regular and specialty items at Whole Foods. Always have different type of sales. Some stuff I have noticed I can get cheaper at other places so I just make note of that and select those various items when I am out and about near somewhere that carries them. It is amazing the amount of alternative food they have gotten creative with and come up with for people like me with severe food allergies! It is a huge blessing and allows me to enjoy things I have had to suffer through or ignore all together in the past.

Shop here often and have always been pleased. Had lunch here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised with the food selection and the quality. While dining I knocked over my Voss water bottle in the busy cafeteria making a huge mess (quite embarrassing) and when I went to go clear some of the glass I was immediately stopped by one of the managers and told not to worry about it cause they would take care of it. Not only were they super quick to clean up the mess, they were incredibly nice about it (especially given it was rush hour and packed). Then to top it off, after it was all cleaned up, that same manager came over to me and gave me a brand new Voss water without solicitation or cost. Overall I was very impressed with every aspect of this location.

Always a wonderful shopping experience at Whole Foods. My family and I are very selective where we buy food products: We trust Whole Foods 100 percent where they source their food selections for their customers. Love Whole Foods and cannot ever consider other food markets. Dont ever merge with any of these supermarkets..ad We Boycott them..Wall Mart, Smiths, Albertson..they dont source their foods..they stock shelves full of empty, uneditable foods and who knows from what part of the world. The World needs Whole Foods for the health of all human families.

After calling all over the valley, I finally found what I was looking for at wf. Item in question was fresh baked turkey . Yes, Im aware I could prepare one myself, but it would be too much, and does not do well in the freezer. I was stupefied to find out that even Granatos and Caputos only serve "turkey roll". What a joke for a supposed "authentic deli". They have definitely dropped more than a few notches in my world. Maybe Im just a turkey snob, but I like what I like, and that is clean, and unprocessed as possible. Thank you whole foods.

My wife goes here every so often, its a bit of a drive to get here otherwise shed be here at least once a week. I went with her for the first time a couple days ago, and the place really does have great appeal, very clean store, great atmosphere. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about all the products we asked them about. We bought some meat here, and the quality was great. The produce is amazing. We love organic and natural foods, and this is the place to get them for sure, much better prices here than in Utah County too.

If you shop right, this place isnt expensive! There are coupons ALL the time and when you be sure to have portion sizes and not over do it with meat, its totally doable. Portion control is the way it should be anyways, not the heaping plates Ive had in the past. We shopped and got dinner for two, with a small desert there tonight for $80.00!! Our dinner was under $7.00 ea.--VERY inexpensive! It was fabulous. Your either paying the Dr. bills or taking care of your health by paying $20 more a week to live longer. Definately worth it!
