well, this was my second and last time going here. when I left my pup there yesterday I asked specifically to get the trim on his head shorter than last time and ears not shaved but shortened considerably. they were very nice and said that it would take 3 to 4 hours and they would call me. I didnt get a phone call back and after 4 and a half hours I called them and they said oh yes, he is done (well call me then). when I saw him I immediately saw his head hair was left LONGER than even last time. they were very busy and i decided not to complain because i had to get out of there even if they had time to work on him again. when i left there and got to the car i noticed he smelled. not that he didnt get any cologne on him, we think he wasnt even bathed, he certainly wasnt blow dried by the looks of the hair on the head and ears - which were not even touched, after I requested them short. to top it all off, when i got home and inspected him further, more than half of his nails were either barely touched or missed completely...now i have to take him somewhere else because i am not going back to petsmart, and honestly im very upset considering how much this whole mess (plus tip! im an idiot...) costed yesterday

Strictly for the grooming Salon.Ive taken my dog to get groomed plenty of times at petsmarts in other states. I just moved to utah and decided to take it here. I was extremely dissapointed with the quality here. The groomers were nice enough but when I ask for my dog to get shaved at a certain length I expect that length. When I got him home I noticed he was spotted and it wasnt because his fur grows funny or spotty its because the groomer was obviously not experienced or just wasnt paying attention. Overall the quality was lacking and in the end he didnt even get a bandana. I wont be taking him here again and I hope those of you that do get a better experience than I did.

If you want your dog treated like a number on an assembly line go here, Use to take my dog to the groomers here. Until the last time. Had an appointment set arrived early, when I came to pick the dog up, she was still wet, still had matted fur under the chin, behind the ear and under her leg. they had her for over 4 hours, When I complained mgnt just laughed oh well. Yea ok I can take my 30-75 bucks elsewhere and get better service!!!! My dog was depressed and scared every time I took her here.

Our experience with Petsmart out in West Valley on 5600W has always been positive! My wife and I usually take our dog Piper and cat Minx out there for grooming and periodic vet appointments. The staff is always polite and takes a genuine interest in our pets health. We are very happy with this location and look forward to continuing business here! The only complaint I have is that prices are a bit high for dog/cat food, we usually have to order it online.

The people at the groomers are the most incompetent people Ive met so far. I made an appointment almost 2 weeks ago to bring my cat in. When I got there they had no record and wouldnt take her. They made the excuse that they switched to a new system and the manager must have just not moved my appointment, so of course they booked over my appointment. The organization here is so poor! I would never take my cat here simply for fear of them losing my pet!

I have booked my dog for a groom three times and my dog is never either been scheduled right or has been scheduled for the wrong day. The last time they didnt take my dog because she didnt have her rabies shot which she was not due In a month for one after this I have not even tried booking her again nor will go back to have her groomed. Very disappointed in this staff and the service.

The staff always follows me around here and always hangs out in the aisles Im in. I really try not to go to this store unless I really have to. Theres only 1 register open most of the time I go, but I get out fast. Its a clean store and when I have needed help finding something they have been very helpful. I just dont like being treated like a thief every time I go in there.

I use to like coming here. But does the store trainer have to harass me everytime I come in? I even complained to the manager. All she said was "What? That doesnt sound like Kim." Would I waste my time to tell the manager this? Theres a reason Im calling to complain. I will no longer come to this store. No choice but to choose 1 star, NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE!

Petsmart groomers have always treated my cat with the best care. She is 16 years old and another locations complain about her being agressive. When I came to pick her up she was terrified. When ever I have brought her to Petsmart groomers she was always treated well. She is never agressive and they always make her look amazing. I love the groomers here!

I gave it 3 stars just for selection. I do not trust that those who work there have the proper knowledge about the creatures they sell, or the proper care of their creatures. They had crabs that are eating each other in one tank and the wrong environment on two snakes. I tried to tell someone and they told me I was wrong, even though I could show them.

While there 2 employees held guinea pigs that were squealing and frozen. These are signs of being terrified. The employees didnt care and continued to move their hiding spot and pick them up and play with them. This is NOT the pet care I want ANY of my animals receiving. I will not being returning to the franchise any time soon.

i took my puppy here to get her nails trimmed for the first time i was a bit worried cuz her energy level that she might not do to well however the associates were EXTREMELY NICE and made her feel very comfortable. i am currently making her a grooming appointment at this moment:) i HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!

THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE SPECIALLY A GUY NAMED ARMANDO OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, TO BUY A DWARF HAMSTER THEY ALMOST DO A BACKGROUND CHECK AND MAKE YOU SIGN A CONTRACT THAT IS USELESS AND RIDICULOUS!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK AND I DO NOT RECOMEND YOU TO GO TO THIS STORE AND ASK ARMANDO FOR HELP!!!!!

This place is wonderful. The prices are pretty good and a huge inventory of all things pet. The employees are awesome too. I forgot my wallet at the register and was walking to my car and the young lady comes running to me and gave me my wallet, just awesome. Highly recommend this place.

While I love PetSmart as a whole, this particular location always seems a bit grungy to me. They are on the way home and they carry the dog food and toys that I like, and every staff member Ive encountered is friendly, so all in all thats a pretty minor complaint.
