I dont recommend buying from this place. my daughter bought a ball python and it dyed after 2 weeks and they wouldnt make it good. they tried to say it was our fault, saying we didnt take care of it or had it where it was to cold exd. we have another ball python that we have had for 3 years and have never had any problems it has a very nice headed enclosure as did the one we bought from Custom Creatures. ya the staff is very fendley but they should have some kind of guarantee like other shops. so dont buy from this place. buy from someone that can guarantee what they sell. we bought our first one from petco three years ago and is still doing good.

I was very excited to visit Custom creatures. We were on vacation from Yuma and visiting Custom creatures was a main stop for us. I wanted to buy a blue tongue skunk and a panther chameleon . There was only one skink available and when I asked to see it the man working said NO! I was shocked by that after all if Im spending 400.00 dollars on a pet I would like to be able to hold it. I asked the man working if there were any more skinks and he said , are you from Craigslist? I have no idea what that was about . We were never asked if we had any questions or needed help. We left very disappointed. I did buy a skink from PREDATORS the same day.

I bought a baby bearded dragon for $80.00 a week ago and as soon as I brought it home it was acting weird having spasms, and dragging itself. Custom creatures pet shop told me he was healthy....it turns out he has metabolic bone disease, and i cant take it back because this place dont guarantee their pets. So upset!! They cant say that I didnt know how to take care of my baby bearded dragon because I have another one that I bought from a breeder and she is healthy and strong and almost 4 years old. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY!!! this place is crowded for those poor creatures...they dont tend to the poor animals as they should.

Best exotic pet store in Phoenix, hands down. Its a family owned and run business. The owner or his wife are the ones who usually take care of me and that they do, theyve been so helpful and taken care of me for over a year now and Im not ever going anywhere else.. They have beautiful animals, well kept, well maintained, well fed, and quite a tasteful selection at that, many different great species and morphs. They also have great feeders that are always healthy. Every 11th feeder is free too with your feeding frenzy punch card they give you. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

I have been to this place a few times, just recently had an unpleasant experience with the owners instead of dealing with an supposedly unpleasant criminal situation they took it to social media showing absolutely no evidence but proclaiming it!!! I instructed them that this is not the way to go about anything please make a report to the police they simply ignored the facts and continued, it is my observation that this little store has no understanding of good business and slandering someone on social media is not OK by any stretch anyways thats my two cents and I do not recommend

Love it! But I do have one WARNING...Only thing I dont like about custom creatures is their return policy. They dont have one. Even if you bring your item back UNopened, they still wont give you a refund. They will only give you store credit in decreased amount. So, I no longer buy "items" there (because I now have an unopened lizard light that Im going to have to try and sell), I only buy food for my pets there. Which is unfortunate because theres a lot of things that I wouldve bought there but wont because if that item does not work out, theres no exceptions for returns.

I LOVE shopping at Custom Creatures! The staff is every friendly. The variety of creatures they have is amazing! Their prices are unbeatable. I just love this shop tbh. Customs is the best place to buy your pets or feeders. My crickets, mealworms, superwomans, & dubia roaches live a longer time than other places I have bought them from. My babies that Ive purchased at customs are very healthy & well taken care of. Everything I need I can find here & if there is anything Im missing & its not In the shop they are more than happy to help me find it. 10 out of 10...10

The shop was very small and more family oriented for it the shop is run by a young man and his wife , they even had thier two adorable little ones with them and the kids seemed to not mind being there at all in fact they seemed to enjoy it and the customers werent bothered by it , if youre looking for a super down to earth and family friendly place this is the place for you , the couple is very knowledgable and obviously loves what they are doing ;) ill be going back for as long as theyre operating

This place is a reptile MILL. Sell.Sell.Sell. This place sells diseased turtles and has poor over crowded conditions for turtles. Had to have two turtles Euthanized by a Vet after 6 months. When I talked to the owner of the shop about the deaths he just told how qualified his parents were at selling turtles. That kid should return to school and get a real skill set, and stop harming turtles. Im never recommending this shop to any of my friends and relatives.

This place was amazing! I went there last week to get an axolotl because I could not find anywhere else that sold them! Everything was very clean and it was obvious that they arent just a pet shop but that they care about each pet there and are very knowledgeable at what they do. Theyre so nice and make sure that if you have any questions, you are welcome to ask! 10/10 recommend

This is by far the best pet shop in Arizona! The employees and owners are so nice and really know there stuff. The cages are clean and animals are thriving, happy, and amazing!! Even if your not in the market for a new pet this place is a must to check out!!! Its like a mini zoo in there!!!! Go see for yourself!!!!

Family buisness. One of the kindest families and very knowledgeable. I got my pet rats petunia and penelope from there and the food is super inexpensive and my little ratties love it! They love all their animals and tale great care of them. I know that mostly the rats are feeders, but they raise them right!

Owner is friendly and knowledgeable prices are comprable to all other stores of his kind and will give you a better deal on a quantity purchase and if there is something that you need to know about products who carries or livestock he will have the answers all other staff members are friendly and kind

I love family run businesses, but this place was a little heavy on the family part. The owners appear to live there with their young children, who were poorly behaved and treated the store like a playground. Other than that though I have no complaints, they had a good stock and reasonable prices.
