I was introduced to CU Auto Sales some 20 years ago through my Credit Union, and have purchased all of my cars from them. They have a good selection of cars on the lot, and I love their relaxed no pressure approach. Just recently we decided to get a 3rd car (oldest kid just turned 16) and attempted to look at a couple of cars at other dealerships. I will never do that again! It took close to two hours at each place just to look at one car on the lot. It took a good 25 minutes at each place for them just to find a sales rep to help us and to get the key for a test drive, and it was always some new guy. One had only been there 6 months, one was there 3 weeks, one less than a year. They knew nothing about the car I was looking at, they knew even less about their main car brand. And as you might guess, if you have any specific questions (or not) they introduce you to their sales manager, and the high pressure sales pitches began. What a racket! With CU Auto Sales, Jody knew all about each of the cars we looked at and was patient as we looked at other model options. Jody was even able to find a couple of cars through his network that were 2 years younger, with less average miles, and $1,500 less then the other dealerships we shopped. Jody at CU Auto made the whole experience pleasurable. We decided on a car we liked in their current inventory, and Jody made the whole process enjoyable. My wife even gave him a big hug at the end of the transaction (which she never does!) Thanks CU Auto for the fun experience! I will Never, and I mean NEVER go anywhere else again!

Mike Hansen the co partner of CU Auto Sales has a great sales technique. My wife and I went to purchase a boat that he had for sale for around $35,000. We came in and he was wonderful to show us the boat. He told us how great it was and that he had lots of people interested in it. We liked the boat and decided to purchase it without testing it out for ourselves, only taking his word for it. After counting on his words that the boat was ready for use, we decided to take it out for our family reunion at Jordanelle. After getting the boat out past the wakeless speed the boat started blowing smoke. Come to find out that he had not had it summerized as he told us. We could have lost the engine if we continued but we decided to pull the boat out. My wifes family was dissappointed that we werent able to enjoy the $35,000 purchase. Once I got it back, I took it to Marine Products and they needed to fix it. The cost to fix it was $216. Mike Hansen said he would pay for the repairs. After getting it repaired, I trusted that he would reimburse me for the payment that I made. He did not and I called him today and he hung up on me and he and his partner called me a prick! These folks arent very classy. Please give some good consideration on how you will be treated after you purchase anything from these people. They seem to jump on the defensive very quickly. I hope that Mike can understand that this is not the best way to handle a problem in a business. Good luck Mike Hansen!!!

My recent purchase with CU Auto Sales was a pleasure. Every angle, item and piece of paper I signed was fully disclosed to me; no fun-and-games here. From my perspective, this company is clearly managed by honest people who are trying to do the right thing. Clearly that is something too often overlooked or lacking in the world of used car buying. I have purchased several cars from CU Auto Sales and will continue to come back because I know they are honest, forthright, and willing to help whenever possible. Best of all the salesmen are not overbearing or pushy. Mike Hanson, who sold me my last car, was honest and willing to be patient while I tried to decide on what to buy. He is a far cry from the “typical” car salesman. He was honest, wanting to help and always willing to let me decide on my own. Like I said before, I’ve bought several cars from CU Auto Sales and will continue to do so since I know I will be treated with honesty and care as they clearly want me to be a repeat customer. At CU Auto Sales, theyve earned my loyalty by their professional and honest behavior.

Ive had both a personal and professional relationship with CU Auto Sales for more than 10 years and there is no better place to buy, sell, or service a car. My family and I have purchased several cars from them over the years and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy. They have great prices and dont jerk you around like most car dealerships. They also have a wide variety of vehicles to choose from; newer models, older models, expensive models, inexpensive models, etc. I love the fact that when I pull into their lot, Im not instantly surrounded by desperate salesmen, eyeballing me as if they are savage wolves and Im a piece of raw meat. They also find time to squeeze me in at a moments notice for regular maintenance and / or repairs. I declare that if you give CU Auto Sales a chance when purchasing your next car, you WILL NOT be sorry.

We bought a used 2013 Ford Focus from CU auto last week. We were very pleased with their service. They were not pushy at all and allowed us to take our time. We wanted to have our mechanic take a look at the car before purchasing and CU auto was more than happy to have us do that. We took the keys the next day and the car checked out great. After our mechanic suggested that the window tint on the driver and passenger windows were too dark, CU auto offered to take the tint off free of charge. The sale was quick, easy and relaxing. Our little boy could happily play with the kids toys and watch a show while my husband and I took turns test driving. They even filled the gas tank up for us. It was a great, used-car sales experience and we would recommend their service to others.
