So for starters this is Ross, a discount store that employees who they can. I have shopped at Ross for well over 10 years now. This is the first time I have actually been offended and decided to not bother shopping here. As the store was closing, they made their announcement about closing that made it very clear abruptly that the registers would close at that time and not a second after, this isnt what bothered me, I have worked retail for 30 years, I get it. But this is Word for word what a employee decided to say as I was standing there in line, her and 2 others were fixing shoes or something ... "its like get out already, you had all day to shop and you have the nerve to come in 10mins before we close? Seriously get a life!" Now I get it, it is late and they have to clean and want to get home. But that is no excuse for what was said clearly and aloud for all to hear and for your co-workers to laugh about when customer are right there less than 10 ft from you. Did I force you to get a job at Ross? Did I destroy the shoes that you had to clean up? Did I ruin your day because I was in your place of business. Using and spending my hard earned money on product so your store has the ability to pay bills and pay crappy employees? I guess so! Really though, you dont like working that late or working at this store, then dont!! Plan and simple, you want me out of your store, I wonder if the owners or CEO would rather me spend my money in your store or have you as an employee driving people out. Sad that I have owned my own business, and have ran and managed many others, been through the xmas season a billion times on both sides of the register, and yet have never been bother so much about her comments, that I chose not to buy anything and leave. And then spend this time writing a review so that they and other know! What is the country coming to, that an employee feels entitled to have a job and get paid for not wanting to be there, nor have customers there keeping the business that is paying you open. I fear for our future! Good luck getting my business back.

I am not going back. The customer service is horrible. I am a pretty easy going person when it comes to people in general, but the way they treated my children, my wife and I with a total lack of respect. The first thing that struck me as a little off was that the security guard started following me and my family from the moment we walked into the store. I didnt think anything of it. Hey, he is just doing his job and I guess we might look suspicious or what not. He could have done it with a little more finesse, but whatever. As I continued throughout the store I noticed that they had a poor selection of products and inadequate cleaning in general. I can get over that, been to worse places. It was when they started treating my family and I as if we were out to destroy the store! I had planed to buy some toys for them while we were there, and ended up leaving. The security guard, didnt yell per say, but did raise his voice to one of my children telling him not to open a box. He was not even trying to open it! He was looking at the back where are the cool picture were... Then a lady did scold my daughter, my sweet five year old daughter (this is a girl is the calmest, gentlest little person I know!) All my daughter did was press a button on a toy. Normally before you buy a toy you want to see if you like it right? The toy made a sound and the lady told you to leave that toy back where it belonged and not to touch anything. This while I had a security guard STILL following me. I dont like playing the race card... but it almost seemed like racial profiling... That is beside the point. The point is that these people treated us like their job was to make sure that we did not steal/break anything and that is why my family and I are never going back there. I still feel flustered at the treatment we were shown. It may not seem like much to some people but the vibe they gave off as they were talking to us was unpleasant to say the least. I dont recommend it to people because I do not want anybody to have a similar experience.

I like the prices and always find things to buy. I wish there was an app to enter & keep their receipts, get frequent buyer advantages and had some way to see the store inventory to a certain degree. The employees are generally nice- some more so than others. The store can appear messy and chaotic at times but its pretty understandable with how many people come and go. In order to find the things Im really looking for I find myself shopping at this Ross and the AF Ross 1-3x a week. I also feel I have to look over almost every inch because of the disorganization. I wish they had more quantity of particular brands/ items as well as more stock and variety of the shoe sizes I need. Their return policy is also pretty decent. A big complaint I have is how difficult it is to navigate the aisles with a cart while other people with or without carts are in the same the aisle because the aisles arent wide enough.

I didnt realize RACISM still existed in stores but yesterday made things pretty clear when a cashier by the name of REBECCA had the worst attitude toward me and all i was doing was buying clothes, she went ahead to tell my daughter not to touch anything and thats when i lost it!I confronted her and she said she had no idea what i was talking about and run to the break room!Its a shame to hire this kind of people who have no idea how to treat a customer !#whitedisgusttowardcoloredpeople.

Every time I have been in Ross it seems very disorganized and messy. Their customer service is poor. My wife asked for help the other day and spoke with a associate who just walked off and didnt help her. Manager was even worse, she was not very helpful and rude to my wife, making comments like we dont have enough people to help you and we are not your personal shoppers.

Can find some great stuff here for decently low prices. We get my husbands shoes there, baby clothes, some maternity clothes and occasionally can find some other types of clothes I like as well. Love the home goods and art section. I have found some fun and cheap stuff there. The lines get kind of long on some days but it usually doesnt take long to get to the front.

Great deals. My only complain is that people go there and leave everything so messy specially on weekend but the staff is always trying to fix everything so be patient because they are always busy. They offer a great selection on clothes and shoes which I love. This is probably one of the best stocked ross in the USA you can always find something to buy.
