Im a professional photographer visiting Utah for a photo event. I had a big photo shoot with more than 8 models so it was an expensive shoot. I filled my 32 gigabyte card. Wouldnt you know it, the memory card corrupted at the end of the shoot and I could not figure out how to recover my lost images. I Called Arches Electronics and the owner quoted me $45 to recover the 32 gigabyte card. A competitor in town quoted me $65 per hr and said it would take around 3 hrs. I took my card to Arches Electronics and they recovered over 5,000 images in a few hours for $45. A very fair price with great service. Arches saved my butt.

This place really exists to take advantage of poor souls who came to Moab unprepared. I purchased a charger for my point & shoot after realizing I forgot to pack mine. After they sold me one for $60, I found it on amazon for $10. When I tried to return it, they pointed to a tiny taped piece of printed paper behind the cash register that said all sales final, no refunds, you can exchange for store credit within 7 days of purchase. In a bind, they do provide chargers and camera gear that people may need, however you will pay a premium and you will be ripped off here.

I am so extremly angry. I went there to buy a charger for my camera, he tried to sell me one for $65 (at amazon they are about $15). Instead I asked him for a cable, as I saw that it would fit into my camera. I paid $21 and it doesnt work at all. Now Im not sure if that means the cable is not ok or if he sold me the cable knowing that it wouldnt charge my camera. Either way I feel like he stole my money and ruined my vacation. Do not go there. He seemed so nice but he really is not.

Rude employees. I will never go back. I call over the phone and ask them if they have any tripods for an iPhone, to which I was told yes. I ask him what brand, and in a condescending voice he says "Jo-by". Then I ask for pricing to which he says (verbatim) "39, 59, 99". So I decide to make the trip into town and stop by the store. I go in and ask for directions on where to find iPhone tripods and they tell me they dont carry them. Really? Please spend your money elsewhere.

I needed a tripod for my new dslr while visiting Moab, and Arches Electronics was there to help me out! They had a comprehensive selection of photography equipment in their small store, and seemed to prioritize GoPro cameras and accessories as well (for those extreme Moab Mountain Bikers, no doubt). My tripod was a little expensive, but the service was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks, Arches Electronics!

Dont ever go to this store! As said, it is a big rip-off and everything is priced sky high.. Besides the prices, the service was terrible! The man sitting behind the counter was a grumpy guy, who doesnt take the effort to serve you well... I wanted to buy a micro SD-card for my GoPro Hero 4 of 64GB. He wanted to charge me $110,- for a card that costs $50,-. Really dont visit this shop!

After reading reviews I was sure stopping here would be a waste of time but I had 2 dead camera batteries and no charger with me so I had to at least ask. Im not sure if theres new owners or hes changed his ways but he was totally reasonable with me today. He offered me a charger at the same price as Amazon but even better he offered to charge my batteries for a very small fee.

If I could leave this place negative stars I would. I purchased a Bower battery charger here last night because I thought I had forgotten my own. When I found mine the next morning the store would not let me return it. I had the receipt and the box wasnt even opened. This is by FAR the WORST camera store Ive ever experienced. DO NOT buy anything from here if you can help it.

Avoid! Although its probably the only place to get camera accessories, dont go unless you must. Nothing has prices and you will get fleeced if you walk in looking for a small item (tried charging me $14 for a generic 52mm lens cap). While I was waiting, I looked at the terrible selection of low-end lenses...cant imagine what youd shell out for a tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6

Im really glad I looked at the reviews before I went here. I needed a 82mm polarizing filter for a nEw lens I had forgotten to fully equip before my trip out west and hoped this store would have one. He did--for TEN TIMES what the exact same filter was priced in Amazon. And I get it, local businesses HAVE to charge more, and to a degree In willing to pay more

Would give this no stars if possible. Went in for a sensor cleaning and noticed afterwards he had just made it worse. After going in a second time I was informed that there was a scratch on the sensor that somehow wasent there before. Hmmm sounds like a bad cleaning job to me. Not only am I out $90 bucks but I also have to replace my camera.

Avoid. Youd be better going without camera equipment than dealing with these crooks. Buy your gear before you visit! Plus, theyre completely unreliable. Online hours say they open at 8:30. Sign on door says 9:00 am. When I show up at 9 AM, sign is changed to 10:30. Learn how to run a business.

This place is a rip-off. They sold me a camera (Panasonic ZF1) for $200, claiming its a 2013 model that they just ordered themselves. After purchase, I did some research, this camera is from 2009. They had very few items in the store, Im convinced that it was not an honest mistake.

Before buying in this store check the Internet (e. g. Amazon) for normal prices, so that you can judge if they try to rip you off. They tried to sell me a Micro-SD card for 79,99 USD, which at the same time cost only 24,99 USD at Amazon US. What a bad experience!

Same experience as many others. Received a 300% mark up on a charger and polarizing filter. This place is a racket that exists to rob desperate photographers. All sales final! Oh boy!

Generally photography-oriented electronics store, but since the RadioShack in town appears closed, was the quickest spot to snag a mini-USB cable I had forgotten.

Website claims they sell lens caps. When I called to determine if they had the size I need, I was told they dont carry lens caps.
