This was the worst experience I have EVER had at this Best Buy. On 3-27-17 I went in with an external hard drive that I had photos on. I ask the associate Cody if there was any way to view the photos I had on the drive through my phone. He suggested to buy a USB/samsung adaptor, so I did. Once I had purchased it, he said we could take it out and try to view them on my phone. Once it was plugged in, he took my phone trying to figure out. He unplugged and plugged it back in multiple times (not knowing what he was doing) I suggested looking it up on YouTube, so he did(on his phone) he then tried what he found on YouTube but it didnt work. He also tried it on my wifes phone but no luck. He then took it to another associate but he also didnt know. He then directed me to the geek squad where they quickly told me it wouldnt be compatible with my phone and that I needed a computer to view them. I then returned the adaptor and left.....One 4-12-17 I hooked the hard drive up to my computer to print a photo and it said there were no files on the hard drive! I was heart broken ! My 3 TB external hard drive, with 10+ years of photos from my wedding, birthdays, holidays, Disneyland, Hawaii, Grand Canyon, EVERYTHING was on that drive! Gone! I had not once touched it since they messed with it at Best Buy. I then took it back to Best Buy at the geek squad counter and explained what had happened. That the files were gone and I didnt delete them. I had pointed Cody out to the associate and called him over. I refreshed Codys memory about the 27th and he at first denied ever helping me, he stated that I had the wrong guy, but then after I had told more about the incident he "remembered" that the cord didnt work. He denied ever touching my phone AND my wifes phone. The geek squad associate then asked if he had ever messed with the phone or plugged in the hard drive and he denied it! He did agree to suggesting the adaptor and thats about it....you could tell in his face he was trying to save his butt because HE KNEW! He got out of the picture as soon as he could... They ended up charging me $50 just to see if they can recover anything from it (this all happened on the 12th) On the 13th I got a automated message saying they recoved the missing data and I could go pick it up... I ALSO got a call saying that they couldnt recover anything and that there were only 2empty files (witch were there when I tried to print the photo) he said that they could send it in for further analysis witch was going to be another $600-$800!! Thousands of photos lost! And they didnt want to admit that they had messed up. I am appalled, deeply heartbroken and angered by the lack of respect and honesty these people have. All of this running around and lying for NOTHING, my photos are still missing and Im out of $50. Very disappointed and will never be back to Best Buy again.

I went to the Goodyear Bestbuy (This one is the Avondale Bestbuy) attempting to exchange an item, that Goodyear Bestbuy advised I should buy, which didnt work with my internet. I was told previously by the Goodyear Bestbuy that I could exchange the item (even though being past the 15 day mark) for another item, but at the time didnt have enough cash and let them know I would come back in in a few days. Well I had a major life event happen in that time and wasnt able to make it back for a few weeks. When I came back in there was a disrespectful kid at the customer service desk in the Goodyear Bestbuy, and he basically just wanted to tell me, no your wrong you cant do that. I talked to the manager, and let him know that this was complete bs, and their reaction was basically your an idiot, your not getting an exchange, go kick rocks. So, being the person I am I went to the Avondale Bestbuy, and the staff there was much more professional and friendly. After reviewing the circumstances the management at Avondale Bestbuy allowed me to exchange the item (which was still in brand new condition), and made a sale of over $100. The staff was very professional, one of the sales reps came up to me and helped me find what I was looking for as well as tried to get me set up with a cash register quickly, before I let him know I was going through the Customer Service Desk. After I was done at Avondale Bestbuy, where I will be doing my shopping whenever I go to Bestbuy from now on, I went back to Goodyear Bestbuy, and let them know that Avondale Bestbuy did the exchange, made a sale, and how Goodyear Bestbuy messed up. The manager at Goodyear Bestbuy became extremely aggressive and was on the brink of assault. As I walked out of the building calmly, and without shouting the manager of Goodyear Bestbuy was yelling all kinds of stuff at me and then yelled I can never come back to the store, he looked like he was about ready to charge me and start throwing punches. Thats great, because I never want to go to Goodyear Bestbuy again!! I am a honorable navy veteran of 5 years, and I go on that tell you this is a 100% true story. Its worth the extra couple of minutes to drive East and go to the Avondale store rather than the Goodyear store.

(This review does not reflect the service we recived from Cody, he was very kind and helpful) I will unfortunately not be bringing any on my business back to this best buy, or maybe any BB for that matter! My family and I had come in looking to buy a refrigerator & a washer dryer. We finally settled on an open box refrigerator and a set of samsung washer/dryer. ($2,200 in sales they would have had) Cody was very nice and helpful trying to find the items to order us, but when he couldnt find the items in Stock in the warehouse he called over Josh one of the managers to help. And for some reason NONE of the Samsung washers we wanted were in Stock , he also assured me that BB gets 70% of samsung inventory so surly home depot or lowes wouldnt have and in Stock *cough* LIES *cough*. So he finally finds one in Stock and tells us he will match the price in store. Ok fine, so Cody helps us with getting everything ready and ordered, only to find out they dont have the washer in Stock that was just on the screen 2 seconds ago....what????.... so we decided to proceed with just the dryer and open-box refrigerator. By this time were going on almost 2 hours in the store with a 1 & 3 year old who are way past thier limit!! So we are all ready to go last step is to run the card, I notice that we are being charged $60 for a dryer vent & power cord. I nicely explain to Cody that we will purchase these items separately from home Depot before the install date. Ok fine except that Cody had gone to far and needs to call over a manager to get back to take off the 2 items. So back some Josh.... Cody nicely asks him to help remove the two items at which point Josh starts to ramble on loudly and very rude way "Woah woah why are we doing that your gonna need that, not having our items will void the warrenty...blah blah blah." I walk away at this point mentally exhausted after being here for 2 hours and two screaming kids. I tell my husband to go back and cancel everything we were leaving. $2000 lost In sales....
