If there was a way to give zero stars I would. First of all the general manager Christian Faustmann is very snide. He only listens to his employees not his paying customers....which being a business owner is a very dumb tactic in retaining clientele. We had a situation where our 5 year old son accidentally wandered off outside the store, or so we were told. We were told the police had been called. Im grateful my kiddos best interest was the most important. However the "security guard/door greeter" was a total condescending, arrogant, puffy chested man. He goes by the name of Scott. His story about our son went from he was in the doorway, to he was out front of the store, to finally he was down at another store in the street. His story evolved over a 5 min period of time and my question is which story was true?? The last time his story changed I made a comment "well thats the 3rd story Ive heard now" to which Scott replied "are you really giving me attitude". Yes I absolutely was. How could such an important security guard find my son all he way down at another store in the street if he was doing his job standing at the front door greeting people?? Makes no sense. Yes he wandered off, he was out front picking flowers. Not in the street, not down by another store. When I was finally able to speak to the all important store manager Christian, the store greeter/security guard stood there and had a nasty smirk on his face. Scott and Christian are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with at a Best Buy. I frequent Best Buy for their prices and services. Word of mouth goes a long way and I will be telling friends and family to stay away from the Best Buy store #787 at 13711 W Bell Rd Surprise, AZ 85347. Since there is no way to contact anyone other than the almighty Christian, according to him and Best Buys central phone number, they are free to treat paying customers the way they want. But what they dont get is Best Buy is not the only place to shop for electronics and such. Its too bad that they will be losing us as customers and many more by spreading the word. Good job Christian and Scott!!!!!

My parents live in Surprise and have an issue with their laptop and since I live in MN I thought it would make sense to check with the Geek Squad at the local Best Buy. Big mistake. I have called there 6 times today. First call was this morning...I pressed 4 for Geek Squad and no answer. Call 2 - spoke to a guy who said hed get me a price and put me on hold for 10 minutes then ultimately cut me off. Call 3 - pressed 4 and no answer. Call 4 - spoke to a woman who said she was going to get the guy I spoke with on call 2...waited 10-15 minutes but she never returned. Call 5 - spoke with a woman and she told me the guy was busy with a customer. I explained I was on my 5th call and would like to actually talk to someone. She took my phone number so he could call me back. After 3 hours of waiting I called again. Call 6 - Finally spoke to someone from Geek Squad. When I asked him if they could flash the BIOS on my parents laptop he initially told me he would need to do a $69 diagnostic. Then I explained that I simply need the BIOS reflashed. He said thats out of his scope of work and that they have to send the laptop to the manufacturer for that. Absolutely ridiculous that they cant reflash BIOS even though every computer manufacturer offers BIOS updates on their website. Horrible customer service and clearly not geeky enough geek squad.

Excellent place. Sometimes waiting for an employee to help you or ring you out is an issue but the store is great! Ive gotten all my laptops ever from best buy and never once had an issue. And this is dating back years in which Ive owned 8 laptops from best buy since! Edit: Seeing people saying they get no help from employees, Im not sure if theyre just coming in on busy times or something but I always get asked in every section if I need help like someone runs up from the other side of the section lol. Maybe its because I love technology so they see me frantically walking around looking at everything or sometimes they spend a longer time helping one customer. Surprise does unfortunately have one of the smallest best buy locations and restocking days for new arrival items leaves them very busy. Great great store I just really wish they made it bigger or at least set up the areas better and got the most recent items like laptops especially because this ones always last to get them :/ Items matter more anyways, doing research online of items you want also yields the best answers so do that beforehand! Some employees unfortunately do not keep up on some very specific and particular specs I look for in laptops or other electronics!

Sure they have lots of stuff. Not good without customer care. I was in there for 10 minutes and no "can I help you?" Plenty of blue shirts walked right by with no contact. I was looking for a gaming device. My daughter isnt with me on this trip so I was ready to buy it. Guess Ill just find it online. You failed me today best buy. While trying to enter the store two employees were blocking the door forcing me to have to squeeze by. No pardon or excuse us from either. So sorry to bother them. Guess Ill be a customer somewhere else.

I would give a full 5 stars for the customer service in the store. Jacob helped my husband and sold him the Tv and he was incredibly nice. He was knowledgeable and had great customer service. The reason why I am giving 2 stars is because of the delivery team that delivered my TV today. Not only was this man rude and condescending, he made me feel uncomfortable in my own home. Needless to say, if I return to this location, Ill definitely everything in my power to not use the delivery service again.

My mom and I came in yesterday and spent around 2 hours with Nick. HES THE BEST EMPLOYEE you have. He talked tvs, sound systems, hue lights, routers, alexa. He answered all our questions, quized us on what would be best in our home. He is absolutely amazing and I will absolutely be buying a TV and sonos system from you guys because of him. Its rare today that people will take the time to educate you and help. Hes truly an exceptional employee and what a great choice in hiring him.

Horrible , bought Westinghouse TV, half an hour ago now they wont give my money back , screen was damaged with multiple grooves, looked like it had been previously opened, I have been sitting around for 40 minutes now for an answer , customer service here is despicable. Im a cancer victim going thru Chemotherapy and weak as a kitten, customer service rep. Walks slowly like he owns the place, and accused.me of damaging the unit. What kind of people and.management do you have here?
