We have been customers of Autozone since we moved to the slc valley 6 years ago. Until today they have been fantastic. First, thier products and ordering policies have always been fair and we have never had any problem. Recently however we purchased a gas tank and feul filter, not an inexpensive product. We were told they would take the old tank and filter and dispose of it for us. First visit to take it back we were told it could not have any gas in it. O.K. No problem, its the law. We emptied the tank completely, messy and time consuming, but again, its the law. After all this we take it back and are told by a new manager he would not, under any circumstances take it back. " I dont care what you were told yesterday, Im the manager and I say no" Wow. Rude and unacceptable. Just lost a long time customer and I will no longer refer friends to Autozone. In case they dont realize, customer service is the only thing that set a business apart. How many choices are their in the valley. Lots.

I visited this Autozone on a desperate Sunday night. I was just returning from a vacation when I noticed that my van was having problems. I quickly realized that the battery was dying and I wouldnt make it home. So I took my van as far as I could and googled the nearest Autozone. I walked through the doors just as the workers were preparing to close for the day. They not only got me the battery I needed, they even looked up my old battery to find that it was under warranty. Since I didnt have any tools with me I started looking to buy the tools I would need to change out the battery. They offered to let me borrow some tools. I got the batteries swapped out and finally got the family back home. What could have been a difficult situation was averted by a group of kind and friendly staff.

This place was a LIFESAVER!! The guys helped me out with a tie rod end replacement after mine dismantled on the road right in front of the shop (major blessing.) Id Never done anything like this (my knowledge extends to changing brake pads and oil filters) and the guys got me the right parts and then helped me figure out how to get it all put on correctly (even printed me out directions.) One of the guys had to come outside and help me for part of it, and they let me use a loaner ratchet to get the job done. The crazy thing is, because I broke down right there and did it myself, I saved like $170 over taking it into the shop. Could not have done it without them. Awesome.

Employee helped me install not one, but two new batteries in my diesel truck on a cold November evening (of course, its always cold when your battery quits!) in 2011. Actually, he pretty much did it for me. I will probably go back for new ones this month! Get yours checked! Winter is coming!

Very friendly, helpful staff. I was able to confirm that what I needed was in stock online before going in. I was greeted as soon as I stepped in the door and the employee helping me knew exactly where everything was. I will be back as a result of their good pricing and excellent service.

Helpful staff for the most part one minor exception last time I visited with two small questions the young man helping me seemed somewhat inconvenienced by my lack of knowledge on certain things. But overall 4 stars when I take into account the previous visits.

Good basic auto parts store. I have bought a few car batteries here with good results. However when I needed a specific sensor replaced they didnt have it and were unable to order it for me. Went elsewhere.
