I have been a Sprint customer for several years, I believe a value one since I have a corporate account with Sprint. I bought an internet device from Sprint Dec 2011. It started developing issues, I worked with "this" store to resolve them. Nobody could find the problem, overheating, damaging batteries, random shutdowns and disconnects. Nov they replaced the device and charged me for it. (Hardware failure). This one has also developed the same as the others thus I am having the customer service isssue as before. Long story short, the technicians could not "find" the problem even when I provide the log files and explain in detail, is the customer smarter than the tecnition, "between my bestfriend and I, 70 years, in electronics". First of the month this store replace the hardware, when also this one it to started the same story ie disconnecting from the internet, i run 4-8 devices I get the excuse that i am "overuseing". Not accourding to the spec sheet and accourding the device manufacturer, upon a promised "replacement " again the store calls me the next day to inform me that they will do no such thing (I am still within the 15 day window and the replacement was a much older that what it replaced). I was then informed that I was no longer a valued customer and banned from returning. Even to include lying and falsifying my account record to prevent me of informing main office. All I want is the hardware to work as for it was designed for. For a "store" to think of dishing on customer for their more out the to replace! This letter is not infer upon Sprint as a whole but to the pritular people that i came accross. American Fork store and the manager of the Orem store.

I would have given them 2 stars but since they lied to me , I am giving them 1. I was told they would hold onto my traded in phone for 5 days if I found that I needed to get stuff off of it. With that in mind I quickly turned my phone in only to call later and find out they had already shipped it back to headquarters! WTH?!! had they told me the truth I would have made sure to have backed up all my info. They were un clear when describing the plan options and it took forever! Then when the glass cover was installed on my new phone it had very noticeable dust underneath so it looked terrible. They did redo the screen cover so it looks fine now. They were nice enough but not terribly competent. I will not go to this location ever again. I am writing a follow up review to be fair. Al, who I think is the manager totally took care of me and got my phone back incredibly fast and allowed me to pull the critical information off of it. He understood our frustrations and I think they will make sure to tell their customers the truth in the future; that they mail the traded in phones on the same day, not that they keep them I store for 5 days. The service was still terribly slow and when I went back in to copy the info off my old phone one of the workers told me he would be with me in a minute (he was unloading a box of merch) when he was done he went in the back and then I saw him walk outside. Al was finally the one who noticed me and asked how he could help.

It seems this place needs to spice up their organization and management a little here. I stopped by the other night, while walking in, I noticed the whole city of AF had the same idea I did. It was packed!! Im a patient person, very patient. Anyway, one of the staff immediately came up to me and told me there is a wait and they will put me on a list. I was ok with that and I put my name down on this post-it note list he was carrying in his pocket. I waited for about 20 minutes, when I heard one of the staff members yell out "can I help whos next?" Everyone was looking at each other like it was a draw to the death. Then of corse Utah culture kicks in and we just allow whomever gets up first to be next. I wondered Why I put my name on a list, it didnt work. Anyway, so I left and took my business to the online offers. It looked like the employees were quite overwhelmed, and Ive been there before, so I dont blame them completely. I would hope this place could dial in a better process in helping customers during those busy times of the day.

I got 2 Sprint phones from this store, phone service was horrible, returned everything to store the next day. People that worked there were nice but their system seemed to not allow them to help me in the way they said they would like to. The process of cancelling my account has been more than 3 months long and involved being sent to collections and is still going. They said that my account was cancelled the second I came into the store but my bill keeps accruing service charges. I have spent more of my time on this than I would have ever imagined, I have never been so frustrated at any one company in my entire life. I would not recommend Sprint to anyone. Their customer service face to face is great until it comes to actually performing something system wise. Their customer service over the phone at the call center is horrible and you cant ever understand what they are saying, but I guess thats what happens when you outsource your calls to ESL "English Second Language"companies.

Well long story short. Lied to about my upgrade and was forced to lease. I am no longer "grand fathered" for two year upgrades. Lied to by Ian about "$150" dollars in "free accessories", they showed up in my bill. It was three of us buying iPhones so $450 tacked on in monthly installments. Of those free accessories Ian assured us the 6 plus would fit the new 7 plus. Ian said my new phone would be there in two days. Three weeks later when it arrived I went to pick up my new phone and the accessories didnt fit. I was past the 2 week return policy so he told me to "sell them online" to get my money back. After I would guess 9-10 hours on the phone and dealing with the manager telling me he cant do anything, I found out who the operations manager was and he refunded my money. Talked in person to several other stores that have to deal with the aftermath of this store and they all said the same thing "this happens all the time from the AF store".

Been with Sprint for about 5 years, I just switched to a different plan they offered because the worker told me I would save money doing this. He told me I would get new phones for less and wouldnt have to pay a certain amount for the first year. Now after signing up with this plan all the info he promised us is wrong. They wouldnt do anything to fix it or even just give us half of what he offered us, even though they all agreed that it was them that totally messed everything up. All they can say is there is nothing we can do......BUT they understand my frustration. I felt like I was at a used car lot and after promising you everything and getting you to sign they change it all up. I have never had any issues with Sprint before but after this I have been looking at other cell services since.
