Absolutely awful customer service/return policy.... Without going into the entire situation, I can honestly say that my experience at this store was the worst Ive ever had in the gaming industry. Incompetent employees (as well as management) make it impossible to ever make a return trip to the store..lol... Bought a wireless headset there (2 days ago) only because it was the closest store to my new home here in Wylie and I didnt want to drive to a GameStop in Plano. Worst decision ever. Customers beware!! They tried to imitate other "gamers stores" well and added an additional "play room" in the back for customers to try any "opened" product on any of the consoles available in the store, however, this is by far the only good thing about the store. On top of the fact that they tried to get me to pre-order Destiny (PS4) from GameStop (for guaranteed online access to the beta next month), then return for a refund and come back to actually buy the game from them, they would not exchange a product 2 days after a purchase (defective headset, which I simply wanted to exchange, not get a refund or any sort of credit for!!). Incredibly annoying employees inside the store...will not leave you alone once you go in and have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Any question I had, was referred back to the store manager, who was less that eager to answer any questions, but extremely eager to sell me all sorts of crap I didnt need, or want, or asked for...lol...kinda funny if you think about it.. Spread the word... Do not let these types of businesses thrive in Wylie!!! They only wish to make a buck where they can and could care less about the customers actual needs (or long-term business practices). I think all the positive reviews below are either friends of owners/employees or were paid off for good reviews (or just smokin a bit much of that sticky icky..lmao)... Make the trip to a GameStop, or any other gaming store...ANY....Seriously!!! ;)

Good store and always clean. Nice employees that do try and help even if they do not know the answer but thats ok no one is perfect. Return policy is a little to short for me since I dont have enough time to sit and play a games for hours on end to know if it is defective or if Ill enjoy it enough to even keep. Seven days is much better for me, three is just not long enough. This store location actually has a very good selection of games and the prices are decent enough but some prices are a little to high. I would give this store a higher review but the drive is a little long and the grievances I have keep it from beating the gamestop five minutes away from my house, using thrift or pawn shops and using ebay.

When I walk into Game Trade, I feel like Im getting what I want as a gamer. From the very informative and helpful staff, to the media that surrounds you that let you know about new stuff! Not to mention the prices! The prices are the lowest Ive ever seen, and they were willing to price match when I found a game that other places had cheaper. And then theres the gaming center! Holy crap! its quickly becoming a regular hangout for me and my friends. Theres a lot to like here, but I found it difficult to rummage through all of the games. They have so many. They also have retro games, but Im not really into those. Whatever floats your boat. you should definitely check it out for yourself!

I love this place. Now i have normally only gone to gamestop but i decided to try it out. at first glance it seemed to be another gamestop, same prices, ect. so i had my purchases ready and all, it came to a total of ninety something, no member ship at the time. i got the member ship and BAM!! the prices were lower than my grades! i was amazed. this store has a lot to offer in my opinion. one minor complaint i have however, is that they talk too much. yea, that the bad. it takes a long time to buy games or to set up the game room. but overall very good. great customer service. they try to hook you in and get to know you. i do enjoy my time here just as much as gamestop

This is an absolutely great establishment! You get to try used and some new games before purchasing them in the back room where the have PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox ones available for use at an hourly/daily rate. Where else can you do that? The staff is great and VERY knowledgeable. They do try and sell you things but that is their business! Thats how they make money and they are not overly pushy just really excited to talk about all things games! I enjoy coming here and wasting a few hours in the back and I will be a regular customer. Dont let any negative reviews dieter your decision to come in because you will be missing out. P.S. I am a actual customer!!

Trade in and return policies are horrible. They say they dont have enough room on the transaction receipts to place the policy information. Came here to get away from Gamestop, and what do you know...ran into even worse problems here. Not to mention...if youre interested in applying for a job here...their interviewing process is a joke...dont bother with it. Save yourself the trouble, and shop somewhere else. Horrible customer service, and they say that they go above and beyond for their customers. Yeah right.

Game Trade unlike other games stores I have been too are 100% professional. At there Wylie Location I have nothing but good things to say. The staff is very friendly and well knowledgeable in all things game related. The store is very clean and well lit making it easy to find what you need. I was even able to try out a few games that I was thinking of picking up to make sure they were age appropriate and suitable for my kids. I will be coming back to this location in the future! Aaron

Great place to shop and chat about games. These guys are gamers here! Great selection spanning all decades. Dont like a game? You have 3 days to bring back used games for an exchange. I have found that they only do refunds on new unopened items but thats not an issue to me. They also have a cool gaming center to play games online or host your own event.

Slow, slow, slow. Talk, talk, talk. Just wanted to run in a buy a game. There was two employees and two other customers. Waited 30+ mins with game in hand and finally had to leave without ever being spoken too. While I understand you need to answer customer questions but the whole time I was there not one translation took place.

Much better than your typical Game Stop. Prices are cheaper, there is moderately priced gameplay hours for you to sit back and enjoy a game instead of buying it. The staff is always on point with what youre looking for. Also the membership is cheap and provides great coupons when registered.

its my fault i threw the receipt out, but i got a brand new game and got home and it doesnt work at all, and they refuse to do anything for me, and said they dont have record of things bought. and refused to give me a corporate number and said they dont have one.
