This store has mostly old lady clothes, nothing really cute or pretty for women, and most of it is polyester. The Petites dept is 98% old lady clothes. The clothes on a mannequin are almost impossible to find,and its also hard to find someone to help you find where those clothes might just be. The juniors dept also is mostly polyester or rayon, clothes that will fall apart quickly, and are flimsily made. Not a store Im going to go in and see a lot of stuff that catches my eye (but when it does, Ill probably be looking for it for awhile). The Home dept is way overpriced so you have to wait for a sale and have a coupon before you purchase anything there, and its cheaper and easier to just go ahead and buy it somewhere else. When they have a sale, the store is a complete mess, the fitting rooms are not cleaned out, and there is sure to be a screaming baby in there with a totally oblivious (and rude) mother, or a two year old crawling under your door (also with a rude mother). The cashiers are sometimes okay, and sometimes just plain unhelpful and couldnt care less about the customers. They need new buyers for this store, its almost like Sears.

My elderly mother and i were at JCP today and were on our way to a register to check out when my mother started feeling like she had to rest immediately, thank God for Timmy a JCP employee, he ran and got my mother a chair, it was a tremendous help as she has health issues, he went above and beyond what was required of him, then we got to the register and Jennifer checked us out, and she could of not been more lovely and upbeat, it was an overall awesome experience, and on top of that we bought some awesome items and saved money, just wanted to give JCP a heads up and a big thanks, Linden.

I generally do not leave a review. I just want to personally thank one of your staff members. She went out of her way to help my wife. My wife is in a wheelchair; but she was more than willing to help her in the fitting room. Besides that she was more than welcome to go back to get other items to try on. She also made me very comfortable by offering me a place to sit while my wife tried on multiple pieces of clothing. I am going to mention her name so you can recognise her as an outstanding employee. Grabbed one pair of mens 514 Levis and an Arizona Polo shirt. Made my way to the register in which I was informed that my total was $102.00, I laughed and said nevermind as I promptly left. Went to Ross and picked up 2 pair of jeans, a better polo, 8 pairs of socks and a new hat for $70 and its no wonder department stores are going out of business. I say good riddance!

Poor selection in size choices. This used to be a good store but its now impossible to find any kind of dress clothes in my size. Its a shame, j was a loyal customer. Ill just find some where else to spend my money.

Went to this JCPENNEY on a busy Saturday. I only visited the shoe department and they were very attentive & friendly.

They had an awesome Black Friday in July. I suggest everyone take advantage of their savings for back to school.

There a there are no dressy clothes in the Petite Department. Therefore, I can only purchase pants and tops.
