Wow! This is the first time I have bothered to post a review, but my experience was so awful I became motivated. There is what everyone else said...overpriced and a bit pushy, but honestly the people are just plain rude and deceptive. I asked how much the soft and hard cover books were and was told $.50 for softcover and $2 for hardcover. When I brought my books up, the woman (store owner) changed it to $1 for softcovers and $3 for hardcovers, because I had picked actual literature and dictionaries. Then, when I went to pay she wouldnt take a debit card. Ok, I got my checkbook which she wouldnt accept, because I wasnt local and it was to much of a risk. My total was $20....ummmmmm, big risk! When I pointed out that was a bit outdated of her, she said she had been had to many times, plus all the other buisnesses do the same. I calmy said, "No, I frequent many of the other stores here without issue." Then she told me that I was a rarity and she only gets offered non-local checks 3 times a year. My response, "So, its not a big risk is it?" I had been in before and was treated very rudely by another manager/owner. This was my 2nd and last attempt. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! Should not be running a charity! PS. take your money down the street where they dont resale shoes for over $10.

TEAM definitely deserved all of the previous bad reviews. It was poorly run and didnt provide reasonably priced, clean, usable items. BUT - those days are over. TEAM has been completely renovated, rejuvenated and is now inviting, inspiring and full of great, affordable items. Anyone who was there in the old days would be surprised and delighted to see how it is run now. It is clean, organized and you feel welcome when you shop there. Give it a try!

My mom and I went in here and were surprised by the size of the store and the amount of furniture they had. We were disappointed in how expensive things were priced. Prices on most of the clothing we looked at was far higher than other resale shops and possibly even higher than you could get new at the store. I was very disappointed with this store and will most likely not return.

This is a lovely establishment. For those who said it was over priced - barter. Its that simple. The volunteers are friendly and willing to give you a good deal. Shop here for treasures.
