I just left this location. We were trying to purchase a 5.2 cu chest freezer. We were at the store for approximately an hour. After the first 15 minutes in the store, we asked a person for some help locating the freezer. He walked around and said nothing at first. Finally, my husband asked him again where the freezers were and almost exasperated he replied that he was trying to find them. The contraption in his hand told him that there were 4 in the store. So we waited for another 20 minutes before we caught sight of said gentleman again and hi merely shrugged his shoulders and turned around. Not sure what exactly that meant, we continued to wait. Finally, another associate happened by. At that point, my husband asked to speak to a manager. The associate told us that we could go up front to ask for a manager. Further upset by complete and total lack of customer service, my husband requested that she ask the manager to meet us there. Looking put off but doing as requested, she paged Andrew. After a few minutes, someone who I can only assume was Andrew because he never introduced himself asked how we were doing. I quickly informed him that communication was lacking in his store. I was promptly ignores and he looked to my husband. My husband proceeded to tell him of the events that brought him to where we were at that time. His response, I ask you??? HIS response was "So what was your question?" Frustrated, my husband stated "My question is: where are your freezers?? No one seems to know where they are!" Andrew, which I believe is his name, however several OTHER colorful words can be used to describe him, says "Well, let me see how many we have." And proceeds to take out the very contraption the first gentleman had!!! At which point, my husband informs me that we are done there and are leaving. "Andrews" reaction is to say "give me a minute " and we both tell that we have given them all several minutes of our lives that we will never get back. Not even remotely close to halfheartedly, he offers a mere "sorry". I called him out on the words authenticity and he engaged in a battle of wills with a potential customer. Needless to say, I am no longer a potential customer and now a faithful Lowes customer. We went there, where they were able AND willing to help us. We purchased the freezer we wanted for $20 but our customer service was NOT compromised.

Another year later and it is true, Amazon has killed the Brick and Mortar stores. Not only do the not stock as many items, they cannot show you any or know where they are! These people are idiots! G A year later and the intelligence at Home Depot has gone down! Orange aprons walking around everywhere, even a bunch together joking about walking around doing nothing. Will they ask any customer if they need help, No! I am handicapped, riding around in want is the worst/slowest cart you can buy and its running out of juice because no one monitors the handicapped carts! Need some pvc pipe cut into equal lengths, I am an engineer and was working on a project! It had to end up being 2 1/2 inch conduit and I needed 4 pieces each 8 3/4 inches long! Took 30 minutes to get someone to help get it down and take it to the PVC area for cutting, the area had several cutters hanging over a larger machine made specifically for cutting large pipe! Another associate had to be summoned taking more time! He finally gets there and takes out a Hack Saw!!!! Two cuts later, they ended up with points not cut evenly! I left empty handed! Do you wonder why we dont build anything in this country anymore, WE CANT!

Hey Veterans This Home Depot is NOT your Friend. I have shopped here so long it has become a habit to drive over here. With all the things HD Corporates profile in the news and in the reviews I have decided to shop other local hardware & Lumber stores. (The Little Guys). This comes after trying to get a veterans discount, It states on my TXDL that Im a Veteran. What else do i need to prove that? I served my time on the wall so companies like this can exist. However now the NEW Corporate Policy seems to be unless you are serving active duty, Then you can utilize only that 10% discount only 3 times a year. So HDs drive for profits have superseded Customer care. Also reading thru the reviews, they treat their Veterans like meat. I have become thoroughly disgusted with the Home depot. See I dont care about the money a lot of people do, so I have the freedom that I helped maintain, to shop the little guys and rather improve their profits. Home Depot USED to be about All American But now its all about Chinese products and Profits above all.

Where do I begin. The Selma/Live Oak Home Depot protects Chris Kyies, a man who sexually harassed a female coworker who was a disabled veteran because he makes money for the store. Tyrone, one of the managers punished the female disabled veteran coworker for making a formal complaint against Chris Kyies by demoting her to a lesser position. She eventually had to quit. When a complaint was made to the CEO and head of HR for Home Depot they did absolutely nothing to punish Tyrone the manager or Chris Kyies for creating a hostile work environment in order to protect their profits. This is absolutely vile and despicable. If you shop at this store you are supporting a company that craps on veterans who served their country and protects sexual deviants in order to protect their profits. If you must shop at Home Depot go to another store. Do not support this store and the horrible disgusting managers who work there.

The man who tried to assist us was engaged in a conversation with two other associates, all three were unhappy that we interrupted them. When we asked where to find the best item to assist in clearing our sink, two of them knew nothing, he suggested the isle we had been on. We looked again, and found nothing. He showed up, with a younger customer, assisted him and his female person (I do not know if he is married) and he walked off. He never spoke to us at all. Now, my husband and I are older, and usually do not require assistance. However, when we cannot find a particular item, we do ask. The fact that we were given information and then could not find any thing, was exta ordinarily rude to your customers. We live very close to a Lowes, but my husband prefers to shop at Home Depot, until today.
