Very positive experience here! We walked in looking for someway to attach our new DC plate to a car we inherited from PA (where only the back plate is required). We found Jeanette, who was EXTREMELY helpful for us. We explained our needs, and she took out a license plate frame from the package to see if it would fit. After we found that it did not work, she took our license plate in the back and drilled some extra holes in it so that it would fit. We only paid for the screws and fasteners that we ultimately needed to attach the plate. Truly is The Helpful Place!

This Tenleytown shop, in the same Wisconsin Avenue building as Best Buy and Container Store, has an unusually large selection for an Ace neighborhood hardware, and free indoor parking via the River Road entrance. Be sure to get your ticket stamped. The store itself is on the basement parking level, convenient for loading stuff into your car. Its staff is a mix of old hands and cheerful, eager (and sometimes clueless) youngsters. Its main plus is convenience for anyone living in upper Northwest.

Stacy Adams was so incredibly helpful! She looked for my flat sash rod. When your store didnt carry it, she went online to see where I might be able to find /order it and gave me some suggestions of older stores that might carry it as well! This reminds me of "Miracle On 34th Street" when Macys went above and beyond to help customers find Christmas items . THANK YOU, Stacy! I wish more clerks were as genuinely committed to customer service the way Stacy is!

What a joy after Home Depot! While its subterranean location might initially seem unpromising, this gem turned out to be remarkably well stocked, and everyone, without exception, was startlingly (for this jaded New Yorker, at least!) attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommended.

Cant help but notice the great customer service! I got immediate attention and found the paint and small dolly/carrier I needed. I also got tipped that you can rent a dolly for ~10 a day. I wonder what else you can rent... Anyway, the aisles are well stocked and bright.

Great hardware store in DC. They validate parking in the garage and have pretty much anything you need. If you need something super specific just call first and see if they have it. Great selection of pretty much anything you can think of in terms of household hardware

I came here and got terrific customer service from Shane. The store seemed to have a lot of knowledgeable employees available to help. They had everything we needed, and its a very convenient location outside the Tenley metro station.

Ultra Helpful. Go there when for hard-to-find items. For anything. I wanted Faygo for a Juggalo theme party and they brought in the soda. A manager even offered to special order the root beer!
