Ive gone to harbor frieght for the last 4 or 5 years . Ive never had a problem until recently i spent more than 100$ on tools during there 5$ power tool special. I was sold a used 4-1/2" angle grinder thats broken it wouldnt even turn on! Missing handle and protective plate ! I took it back to exchange and was called a liar by the manager herself. She was nasty and rude. Ive never been treated like that ever! What hurt most was the employee lied to my face and the manager! I thought she was nice due to her help the previous day. Im a single parent going to college for automotive tech , im always buying tools and that grinder was a gift for my step dad since his tools were stolen. I usually always send people to this store ...including all classmates... now ... i dont think so. Worst service ever! All i wanted was to exchange the tool no cash back. I bet if you check cameras said employee did not check the box before selling me the power tool . Horrible management representation!

Great products at great prices......but, there is not an easy way to get checked out with the products at this store. I have been patronizing this store for years and the customer service stays the same. There was absolutely no one available to answer a question (I even went in to the storage room looking for someone) and there was only two registers open. One check out line had 15 people and 10 in the other. One customer held the line up for 20 minutes while the cashier needed to ask someone a question. Finally a female employee came out from a door and then disappeared back into places unknown. She didnt bother opening another check out to relieve the congestion. I have been in numerous Harbor Freights and this one is the worse for customer service! Pay the $6.99 shipping and not deal with the stress.

I really think this store would be a lot better without the management of NORMA. Every single time i visit this store, she seems to constantly argue and ignore customers. I, myself had a really bad customer experience with her. Everyone else around her in her staff seem pretty nice. If it werent for the good prices and my auto shop necessities, I would not visit this store because of her. Note to store: In need of new management.

Went in today (Fri July 21, 2017) to the McAllen store and was very impressed with cashier Belinda. She was extremely professional, easily handling a return, our checkout order and a phone call all at the same time with a very friendly and positive attitude. She was comfortable and in control, promoted the store and invited us to the upcoming sidewalk sale. Made me want to come back.

It is a good place to buy tools but wouldnt recomend it for big things due to a customer complaining both his pressure pumps busted one day after his insurance expired both of them kind of leaves you wondering... Check out is an eternity and didnt get correct change back got less the good thing about it Is the buy something get something free and has good prices on various tools

I was the 6th person in line, 45 minutes. Their were 4 regesters open and I was in the fast line. I am also still in line. And no one had more then 3 items. Save your time and go to a place that has faster moving lines then the dmv

Takes forever to checkout, parking sucks, other than that great prices. Im usually in line from 10 to 20 minutes while they tske all kinds of info.
