I come here specifically for the top brand dog food(not the pets barn brand). Unfortunately the service left me disappointed. Separate occasions I asked if they would ever carry canaries. The guy said "Oh god no theyre too expensive and messy and make too much noise" and a few other rude comments about birds in general. I found that offensive being a bird lover. Another visit we came to pick out a fish. Of course you want a certain one not just any from a tank. The lady who is always there with the dark hair. Never smiles... Well she helped us. We told her what we wanted and she was getting irritated because the fish was hard to catch. I mentioned to use 2 nets but she said "we dont have 2 nets or small nets, we dont sell them here"! Well sheeeez! Excuse me.... Rude. She pushed the rocks aside and hit the glass. I was waiting for the tank to crack. I was just trying to help. When I said thank you she didnt say a word. I bit my tongue because my kid was with me. Obviously these two employees need to find another job. They really make this store a horrible experience.

Pets Barn is a terrific store to shop for your pets. We have found the staff to be very helpful and willing to find what you need. The manager is very accommodating and all are knowledgeable. We have since relocated to the far north and they were willing to ship products to us by using our credit card. That was a terrific service that they were willing to give us. Their bone treats are healthy for our diabetic dog and so we want to continue to give them to her. Thanks to your staff and the management of Pets Barn on Potrano.

Dont waste your time going to Petsmart. The customer service here cant be beaten, they have an awesome selection of everything, and a good portion of the products they offer are better quality/locally made. I couldnt ask for a better pet supply store!

Awesome pet store. Pet Barn always has the brand of dog food that my dogs eat. I never can find it at any of the larger chain pet stores. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable.
