I purchased a beautiful, feisty, happy 3 month old Yorkie puppy from Petland the first week in June 2015. She had a little kennel cough, but I had fallen in love and wanted her anyway. She developed pneumonia shortly after I purchased her and Petland has stood by their guarantee and paid for all of her vet bills over the last 2 months. She is now needing to have an expensive procedure to get to the bottom of why she is not getting better and once again, Petland has stood up and honored their guarantee. I was really hesitant to purchase such an expensive puppy, but am so glad that I did it through this pet store. They have most likely spent more than I purchased the puppy for on her vet bills and the bills continue to climb and they continue to honor their word. I am so impressed with this. On top of all of that, I am told that she is one of the best specimens of a Yorkie that my vet has seen. She has a loving, infectious personality. Everyone who meets my puppy loves her. I have been told over and over that others would not have bought a pet store puppy because they all come from puppy mills. I dont know about that, but I know that all animals need homes, regardless of where they come from. I will never regret the purchase of my new fur baby from this location. I highly recommend this store. They may be a little more expensive, but this is one of the reasons why. They are honorable and stand by what they sell. You Go Petland!!

Me, my little sister, and my dad went there one day, we asked a male worker to see a puppy and he barely acknowledged us, he said yea hold on and never came to help us there were many workers gathered in the puppy are and we went up to another one and waited for them all to stop talking so we could politely ask if we could see a puppy, they never acknowledged us so we forgot about it and left. Another thing to mention is that all there items and food is way overpriced when you can get it much cheaper at petsmart or petco, and lastly they get there puppys from puppy mills so there parents are brother and sister meaning they are more prone to diseases thats why my mom always tells me not to but a puppy from petland as well as the puppies dont get any time outside there just stuck in a display case. And sorry to keep this list going but I just want to inform you all befor you purchase a pet from there, my cousins purchased bunnys from there and they died the next day! They were in a nicely air conditioned room with food and water! They tried a few more bunnys but the same thing kept happening! So I hope this helps you chose where to get your pet or supplies from.

I went to this store twice just to look at a English bulldog puppy they had. Price was $4k, but it was sick and on meds. The staff that asked if she could help me knew less about the dog in question and had to keep running to the back to ask someone. That makes it hard to ask questions. I asked, out of curiosity, if I were to purchase the bull dog if they give me the meds to continue treatment. They said no, the dog would have to stay until the meds was finished. I asked if I could take the dog to my vet to have him checked out, but they said that they have their vets check them out prior to leaving. This place seems a little sketchy, not sure why you would advertise sick puppies or dogs if you cant sell them upon purchase. I mean I have rescued several dogs and they may have been under fed, but never sick with a all sales are final attitude. I think this shows that Petland is about the money and not quality of animals or customers time wasted.

Purchased a German Shepherd from here. When it was time to pick up the puppy, they stated he wasnt eating and it was a stomach virus. They kept him for almost a week, sent him home with medicine finally for dieherrea and probiotic. When we took him for his follow up, found out he had giardia which comes from mom and very contiguous to people but that was never told to us until Two weeks after having him home, he still dieherrea and a small cough.Took him to my own vet, found out he had a little pneumonia as well and gave meds for bacteria. Another two weeks later still having dieherrea! When I called Petland and spoke with a manager to see if they would cover cost since its obvious he never got better. He stated would do research with the vet and call me back. Never heard from him!!!! Poor customer service especially from a manager!!!!! The vet they refer their customers to told me themselves its hard to get rid of giardia when a puppy has it!!

0 stars! I bought a french bulldog from here they sent her home with worms after she was supposedly "all clear" not only that then I found out she had a birth defect (about a week after) none the less I treated her no differently she was an amazing dog I had her for less then 3mths then one day I woke up to her throwing up blood everywhere raced to the vet and she had a ulcer on her kidney/liver. From one day to the next I lost my baby girl she passed away the same day I took her to the vet. I called prior to her passing to find out what steps I should take because Ive never been through this before the manager "krissy" first didnt believe me when I said she was in critical condition. second offered a credit for another dog!!!!!! While Im at the vet watching my baby throw up blood. they legit dont care dont waste your time like I did! All they want is $$$$$$! I just feel sad for the babies that have to be in this place!

Buyer beware!!!! We purchased a "purebred" puppy from here and what we got has been a disaster and nightmare. Not only does the dog have health issues-fine, we have her on meds and we will make her better. She had an infection in her uteris, an infection from flea bites (that the sales person told us was "dander", the vet confirmed it was a FLEA INFESTATION that caused an infection!), and was just crazy vomiting from the infections! However, the main thing is that we RECEIVED NO PAPERWORK ON THE DOG TO DATE-MONTHS LATER! The sales people here feed you a load of bull to get a sale, the managers will never call you back nor will the owner, and to boot they will not even provide you with information about the breeder. This was such a disaster and such a scam-total used car salesmen. I will make sure that we tell anyone and everyone about our experience so someone else does not go through the same thing!

What you would expect from a pet store. As below we also bought a Shiba Inu who now has a terrible cough 1 week later and is going to the vet tomorrow. She was already treated with nebs and azithro at the store but it seems she needs a bit longer treatment. She is NOT AKC though its technically not false advertising. They told me she was AKC as do all of their signs in the store but the paperwork actually says ACA. The AKC registration they are claiming is through AKC pet partners where even mutts can be registered. No worries, we love her and it doesnt matter. But, if youre purchasing for the AKC registration chances are its not real. If you try to register online with the number they give you it will tell you whether it is an AKC number or a "AKC pet partners" number.
