This store has a 7 day return policy. After 7 days, you get store credit only. This is fine, but there was no effort to make sure I knew that before I left the store with a rather expensive christmas gift. Why would I shop here when I can get the same stuff cheaper elsewhere and with a 30 day return policy? Cashier was passive/aggressive arrogant about reiterating the policy when I wanted to return something within 15 days of purchase, unopened and unused. Way to go keep people coming back. I will not shop here again. No reason to. Oh, I just found this elsewhere, seems Im not the only unvalued customer that will never be coming back. I wonder how many more there are? Its too bad that many businesses will fail because of this type of attitude. Read below... Terrible return policy after Christmas john l. 1 Good Sports I used to love this sporting goods store but after the experience my wife had today, I my family can never shop their again. My wife bought a Christmas gift for my self on the 18 of December after opening the gift Christmas day discovered it was too small, when she tried to return it after Christmas discovered it was past the 7 day return window. She argued with the owner, but he was very inflexible and refused provide a refund for the gift. I think the owner should have had a more flexible return policy around Christmas or at the vary least warned customers before the holidays of this strict policy. He said you should have read the hand written note on the counter. She was not aware of the inflexible holiday return policy if she did she would never have bought gifts at that store. Buyer beware!!! Please be the judge, I order altra running shoes through Amazon, when I received the shoes. I set on the bed placed the shoes on my feet stood up and noticed the were to small, sit back down placed the shoes back in the box. Took the box to ups and sent the shoes back. After a week I was advised good sport outdoor outfitters was only refunding $60.00 or my $120.00 order, REALLY so when questioned about it they said the shoe had a scuff on the shoe, if they was a scuff on the shoe it was their when I got it. I am sure they lied. Then something wrong with the box. And that cost me $60.00 I mean for really. I would really shop around before buying anything from this store.

I went in looking for a lid for my Yeti and when they didnt have the one I was looking for I decided to just take a look around. I walked through the entire store and every time I turned my head I could see this one employee just eyeballing me. I wasnt planning on making any trouble, but him watching me like that was extremely unsettling. I understand they need to watch out for their merchandise, but him watching my every move the way he was just put me off and I decided to leave. I found some things I wouldve bought, but because of that experience I decided not to get anything and take my money elsewhere.

This is a great place for anyone looking for outdoor and hunting gear at a higher level. Their fitter worked with me for quite some time on some Kenetrek boots as well as some Lowas, and overall, they were really attentive and helpful. They are running a full line of Sitka and Mystery Ranch gear, and its really nice to have a place to look at some of this specialized gear in person. I live in Austin and made the drive down, well worth the trip!

Super impressed with the staff here. I came in a few months ago just looking for a water bottle, and while they didnt have exactly what I was looking for, two staff members went above and beyond helping me find it both in their store and ultimately recommending a competitor who did have it in stock. Its a fairly small place, but they have a huge variety of products. Ill definitely be returning the next time I need sports or outdoor gear.

Poor service from Manager/Owner. Had a bad additude. Paid with an item using debit. Returned an item the same day and she didnt want to refund me cash. They had to credit my card which can take 3-5 business days. I explained how I paid debit which is just like cash. She insisted that her bank told her not to return with cash. If Im getting g bad additude from the owner then why shop here. STAY AWAY!!!!

Been there today to purchase a good pair of running shoes. The store has great collection of shoes. Colin helped my feet feel the greatest shoes ever. He did a beautiful job analyzing my feet, giving some useful information about my feet and recommended a shoes that fits my feet. This is the best outdoors store in SA, not just because they carry a ton of great outdoors clothing and equipment, but because their customer service is OUTSTANDING! Super knowledgeable, and outdoors people themselves. Ive traveled to 11 countries and always go to them before I go to get the best gear for each country.

Very knowledgeable staff from top to bottom (Owner...mgmt....clerks). Anyone who helps you can usually get all your questions answered fairly quickly. Awesome selection on everything from clothing, shoes, gear & camping equipment. Overall best shopping experience when looking for sporting goods!!!!
