This was one of the worst retail experiences I have been involved in. I ordered a set of unfinished chairs and was told they would be in, in about 2 to 3 weeks. 2 weeks later, a sales guy called to say the factory was backordered and the chairs would be an additional 2 weeks out. 2 weeks after that, the guy called to say the chairs wouldnt ship for another 3 weeks and would arrive a week after that. After that amount of time, I called to find out if my chairs were in and was told they had not yet shipped. I was told they would ship in 3 days time and I would have them in ten days. In ten days I called again and received the same story. After an irate exchange with the sales manager, my chairs finally arrived... 3 months after I ordered them. I suspect they are making sales, and then "borrowing" the customers money for a couple of months before actually placing the order. The unfinished furniture from Whitewood Furniture was really nice, but in San Antonio, I would recommend finding another distributor; Furniture in the Raw is a terrible place to do business.

NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS - I will never recommend the store to anyone of my friends or enimies. My wife and I placed an entertainment center on thier so called lay-a-way (Per the saleslady Ms Clutter) would not order until 1/2 was paid. We began this process with $100 down and within two weeks decided that this purchase was too large for our budget and decided not to purchase. We were told we would not get our money back. Store credit only. There is nothing else we can use in this store so they are keeping my deposit.

I went looking for bunk beds when I was about a month away from my due date. I needed the bed fast because one of my toddlers was sleeping in a crib I wanted to use for the new baby. Johnathan did a great job and called around to find the bunk bed configuration I wanted delivered within the week. Its beautiful and came quickly. I recommend this store for the quality of product and service.

We purchased a beautiful TV stand here and were impressed with the customer service. We ended up also purchasing a pub table and chairs. Everyone was very friendly and helpful without being over bearing. We will definitely return for our furniture needs.
