i have to admit that it is hard to motivate me to do anything that takes time away from my family or any other of my passions. however there is a point where i feel so incredibly cheated, mistreated and taken advantage of that i want to do my part in helping others not go thru the same thing. I recently bought a sofa, dining set from this twf and it came with as advertised a "FREE TV". First off its not technically free, rather at there cost which at the time i supposed to be lower than the comsumer average. So to recap i payed for the TV. The sofa was delivered. a couple days later. i noted so scratches etc. no big deal. they touched it up with there magic sharpy and all was well. i called about the TV b/c they had to coordinate with best buy for pick up. they stated that it would be available after all was delivered. table came in a week later. no big problems thr either other than they didnt keep their word to bring back the cover that goes under the chair. I called about the tv and they stated they would call me back. they did not. my girlfriend called about the TV. they stated they would call her back. they didnt. long story short. its been about umm a month since i was delivered. My latest call, which was today 9/28/2011, i was told that the owner orders the tvs and hes on vacation not returning until Oct 12th. miserble customer service. ive done somewhat of a poor job retelling the tale b/c there was a lot more BS on there part about calling back etc. but i hope you get the gist. oh!!! and the sofa i bought from TWF i found somewhere else for half of what i paid. but thats my fault. they sure did a good job of playing the part of "gee well, i cant really give it to you any cheaper, blah blah blah..." texas warehouse furniture has essentially stole my money. i gave them X amount of money for a product which they have not delivered and as of present have no plans to deliver. long story short, unless you want to ridiculously overpay, be treated poorly and be taken advantage of i recommend you go ANYWHERE else but here. Ill be sending a letter to the BBB as soon as i click publish on this too. good luck out there.

Rip-off! We came in a couple of weeks ago and were interested in a coffee table set they had. Billy offered the set to us for ~$180. We put down $50 and were going to pick it up the next day. I had noticed how much of their furniture had Ashley Furniture tags and web printouts with information on the pieces in the store. Realizing they may merely be reselling Ashley stock and we could get a better deal (especially since the set itself was just heavier than usual particle board), we called to cancel the order we put down within a couple of hours. Turns out the lady on the phone (Sandra apparently?) was about to call us to let us know that the price we received was inaccurate and was actually much higher, and that she would get us refunded. Good timing on that cancellation, except for the fact we never got our money back. We called back to confirm the refund status, and received some RUDE service. Once we figured out it was Sandra we spoke with on the phone (who was in the store with Billy at the time we were in), she got on the phone and denied ever speaking to us. Then Billy got on the phone and rather snappily informed us we would receive a 25% restocking fee for cancelling. We called within TWO HOURS and the price was wrong anyway! So how much that fee is is a mystery, since we were given the wrong price in the first place. I doubt were gonna see that $50 again considering, but Im glad we didnt lose more than that, especially after reading these other reviews. If they do record their calls, I wish I could get a copy of their tape so we could at least prove what we were told about the price, rendering their restocking fee absolutely unjustifiable! Im sure you read this already but STAY AWAY! It looks like theyre just reselling Ashleys stuff anyway.

Everything that could go wrong with this purchase went wrong. I bought a full sized bed frame, headboard, footboard, mattress and night stand at the end of January and was told I would receive the items I picked out in the store that following Saturday. When the items were delivered the bed set and mattress were the wrong size. I called and Mary apologized and told me that the bed set I had purchased with her actually did not come in the size I specified. I came back to the store and picked out another bed and was told it would be approx two weeks to have it shipped. Two weeks later I called and no one returned my call. I called again and began a game of calling to check on my items once or twice a week for the next 4 weeks. Each time I called and was told Mary would call me back and she didnt. When I finally got a hold of her she assured me there was absolutely nothing she could do. She did not seem sincere in her apology, she did not offer a discount, she didnt offer anything. I finally received the items and the night stand was scratched in multiple places. I did not report this because I was certain with the lack of service I had prevously received, I would get no resolution. There are other furniture stores with similar prices and I certainly will use them in the future. I work in the customer service industry and unfortunately this was some of the worst customer service I have ever received.----Please, I implore you, read this review before making your decision to shop there.

I wish I could rate this place with negative stars. My wife and I came in and purchased a sofa and a loveseat from them to be delivered in two weeks. We put a deposit down to hold the couches and came in two days later to pay the rest off awaiting delivery. Cone delivery day, after calling in to find out what time the furniture was to be delivered three times; we were met with no information what so ever, being told that it " would get there when it got there." My wife and I both being in the military took the day off for this, waiting for them all day long. Finally, late in the evening, a sales associate, Adam, called us to inform us that they sold our furniture to someone else, and that we could order another set that could be delivered 7 days later or come in and pay extra for a "better set of couches." To add insult to injury they told us that we would be required to pay a restocking fee for furniture they never delivered and sold to someone else, and then wouldnt even give us a specific date on when it could be sold. Im surprised this business is still running, literally garbage salespeople and horrid business practices. They way they treat military is horrible, I would highly recommend that you NOT purchase anything from this place, as they are an absolute nightmare. Not only are they liars, but they have horrible customer service and do not own up to their mistakes.
