I dont know where to even begin with this horrible and stressful experience. We went to Gretchen for our wedding dinner invitations Bc I read great reviews. However, they were a disappointment. I showed her what I wanted and she said she could do this, on time no problem. She did not deliver. The quality of the invitations were poor and rushed. The burnt edges of the paper wasnt sealed(like its supposed to be done) and black ashes got all over the envelopes and insert cards, clothes and hands. We had to pick almost half of them out Bc the back of some of them were extremely burnt and embarrassing to send out. She sent us an email showing us our wax seal but it had the wrong monogram. When I questioned her about it, she got snippy with me. We call her 8 days before the event and explain to her our concerns that nobody will receive them. She reassured us they would be ready the next day so we explained to her we would be going straight to the post office right after to mail them off. 7 days before my dinner at 5:15pm she calls us and tells us theyre ready to be picked up. We go to the other side of town to pick them up and when we get there, the invitations were all over the place. She didnt even have the courteousness to put them together knowing our time sensitive situation. It was basically a kit that we had to put together ourselves. She had me in tears Bc we had to beg the post office not to kick us out. She didnt complete the list of guests on the envelopes going out and then there were doubles and triples of the same guests. She also forgot about the rose I wanted with each invitation sent out. These invitations did not even make it to my out of town guests on time. We also made the mistake of getting our dinner napkins from her too Bc my husbands were the wrong color throwing off our color scheme. For my fiancé paying her in full before the job was completed, she did not take this job seriously for such an important event for us. She also told us that she would put other jobs aside to make sure ours were priority. Again she didnt keep her word Bc we had to keep contacting her to see a mock up of our invitations and for a whole week she didnt return any of our calls or emails. After I picked up our napkins that were wrong, I went home and sent her an email of how I felt about the whole situation. She has yet to respond to it. This tells me that she didnt care about her clients feelings and that upset us even more. Im not sure if it was because we looked young and she was just trying to do the least work for the pretty penny she charged, or if she just didnt care Bc it wasnt her event. Either way, she ruined our dinner. We didnt get a correct headcount Bc there was no time for our guests to send back the rsvp. This was just such a disaster all the way around and I hope NO BRIDE ever has to go through this which is why Im writing this review. We hired Gretchen to help us take some of the stress off of but instead, she just added more to our plate. Nothing about this experience was pleasant. She wasnt professional and I dont recommend going to her. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Gretchen was absolutely wonderful. When I called to schedule the appointment, she asked me to email some pictures of what I liked and when I arrived she had marked samples to show based on my taste. Within 30 minutes I had picked the design and colors. The invites were so beautiful my family talked about them for months before the wedding, my aunt even took hers to work to show off to her colleagues! As a bride who over analyzed every aspect of my wedding planning, Gretchen was a lifesaver and a time saver! I am very happy we went with her and recommend her to everyone.

PERFECTION! My wedding invitations turned out better than I could have imagined. Yvette was amazing. She used our save the dates from Etsy as inspiration and made custom wedding invitations to match. The process was fun, and even my fiancé was excited about the invitations! She is a true artist with a passion for her work! We were always greeted with a smile, and we always departed with hugs. What a great experience - and some guests have told me that the invitations are the best theyve ever seen! I am so glad we stumbled upon her shop. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience withe the owner. I had to cancel the order which had not even been finalized just one day later and I was charged a cancellation fee. It hadn't even been submitted to the printing company and she kept the fee for the service of reviewing the order before final printing. Very customer unfriendly! Was not informed by her of the cancellation fee beforehand. She said I didn't have a good reason for canceling - which is not her's to judge! Very rude! Avoid this place and choose a more professional shop owner.

BEWARE, EXPENSIVE, this conwoman charged me over $1100 to do my wedding dinner invitations. Did Not do them in the timeframe we agreed upon . My husband and I went to her a month before our dinner and she said our guest would receive their invitations no later then 2 weeks before the event. Out of the guest that did receive their invitations they got them 4 to 1 day before the dinner. It was a absolute disaster due to this ladys inability to do her job and live up to her word. Do Not use this company!

We had invitations done for an out of town event for a relative. They scanned in and blended a childhood photo image of the relative into the invitation and did a beautiful job - great design and colors, fast proof approvals, very fair total price. Really nice gift store tucked away on a side street. They do amazing personalized things for gifts as well as wedding invitations, party favors, etc. They also do custom embroidery as well. A real gem of a store.
