I was at this Sears and noticed one thing from the start...it was worn down. I continue...I get some clothes and go to a checkout, yes the lines were long but the registers are probably older than me...so whatever..I was patient. I was at the middle register section (probably the most busiest on Saturdays) and wait maybe 15-20 minutes but its ok I didnt mind. I was greeted by a very nice young gentleman who looked delighted to be there even though it was hot, busy, and noisy. The cashiers all seemed friendly (even the one that kept screaming at the kids to stop playing on the stairs). The cashier asked me for my phone number, so I gave it to him, not knowing that I didnt have a Shop Your Way account. So I signed up, no big deal, the deals look good. We were continuing with the transaction when an older white lady came to the registers(who I assume was the manager) and almost demanded the cashier to void the transaction to get some numbers? I didnt see the point to this as we were almost done. I get bombarded by the usual questions for retail stores (emails, credit cards etc..), its annoying but hey its their job...but the manager AGAIN stopped the cashier to make sure he was asking the May I questions...? What may I questions ? It upsets me that these cashiers who are EXTRA friendly get treated like crap by their managers! No wonder the line was going so slow! The manager(s) make them do things that are extremely annoying! The cashier asked me if I wanted to apply for a credit card(I said no thank you, while smiling) and the manager made him ask me two more times! Its ridiculous! Lovely cashiers, terrible managers. (This isnt the first time, there was another manager who basically did the exact same thing, except the other manager digged in the drawers next to the cashiers body to grab something...when she didnt get anything out of the drawer she looked at the cashier and said "you need to get your numbers up, this is terrible performance"...it baffles me that managers can say this in the middle of a busy time of day to TEENAGERS with customers hearing them...this was upstairs in the kids department by the way...)

I JUST got back from this location. Was looking for a Reebok Easy/Tone shoe. Im extremely appalled by the level of rudeness I received by the workers there. It seemed like everyone was in a bad mood. I asked two of the girls if they could help me find a shoe, they immediately responded with "we dont work the shoe department. would you like us to call for someone to help?" I asked them to do so. They walked by me after making the call and I overheard (although they said it loud enough for ANYONE to hear) one of them say "SHE REAAALLY NEEDS TO FIND A SHOE" with such an attitude that I couldnt help but respond to her rudeness, I said "YES, actually, I do need that shoe, thats why Im asking for it." The other girl offered to help even though that wasnt her job. The guy that actually worked the area didnt show up until 10 minutes later, with an attitude on his face, he ignored the rest of the customers whom also needed help and began to rearrange shoes. After the girl told me that there were no shoes in my size I asked the guy to please check on other stores for that shoe. He did it and gave me attitude while doing it. This is extremely upsetting. I mean, HELLO Im a paying customer. Shouldnt I at least get some type of courteous help?? I gave up and decided to make a complaint to the manager. i asked another worker for the managers number, she immediately said that he wasnt in and that he wouldnt be in for the rest of the week. Gave me the number of the store with an attitude. I walked around to find the names of the girls who had been so rude earlier, and after I found them I over heard other workers talking about how I was asking for a shoe and got upset over them not having my size. THAT IS NOT THE REASON WHY I WAS UPSET. I am upset by the dismissive impolite way they handled my request. Every single worker I encountered was in a bad mood, you can easily tell by their facial expressions that they do not care about their performance. Im very upset. No wonder their sales are low, I couldnt help but compare how differently I was treated at Macys minutes before my arrival at that Sears. Its appalling.

I am a long time customer Went to go me some shoes happen to see that you had pants on sale that my son like so I bought three pairs I get home they dont fit him no big deal I took them back a month and six days too late they wont exchange them I have the receipt and pants have the tags I dont want my money back Ill even pay a restocking fee I just need a bigger size for him

After years of not going to this mall, just recently my fiancé and I decided to check it out. We came to a disappointment when we saw a manager/assistant manager bash on information to the associates. She was yelling at them right Infront of us. It created a hostile environment. I used to love that place as a child, but as an adult Im afraid I cant say the same thing.

horrible service bought a lawn mower and stopped working . has "warranty" that you have to take it to one shop in Baytown that has more than a month wait. when they give you a paper that says hassle free resolution free replacement ..never buying here again . thats why all their stores are closing.
