Ive been in this location quite a few times.. From the very first time going in to this store .. The manager who is, I think Sheila, or something to that nature, has been beyond rude to me.. She acts as if Ive done something to her.. This lady doesnt know me from a can of paint.. And the very first time I saw her she looked me up and down like Id offended her, without saying a word to me.. She starred me up and down and rolled her eyes.. which I thought was weird.. But I let it go. I had inquired about a position in the store, so the young lady who was helping me, who was very sweet, took me up front to talk to the manager, who happened to be the same rude lady who had just killed me with her glare. She told her I was interested in a position, and instead of this lady addressing me telling me what my next step should be, as I am standing directly in front of her, She turns to the young lady helping me and says.. She can fill out a application on line.. which to me confirmed that she obviously has a person problem with me.. So every visit since then she has been consistently rude.. Today I walked in and she started to say Hello and stopped mid "He" and continued to ring up her Customer.. Didnt greet me but greeted ever single other person who walked in the store.. then to make matters worst she immediately got off of the register as I went to check out to ensure she wouldnt have to ring me up..I could accept it better if I knew her, and had done something to her..But, Im New to the state..I dont know this lady..She is by far the rudest manager Ive ever seen.. She sets a poor example for her employees.. Customer service is null and void with this lady she lets her personal feelings towards a total stranger get in the way.. She doesnt know if Im there to report her behavior to her superiors or not.. But either way she has failed.. If I could contact her superiors personally I would, because shes out of line. Her disposition is getting a bit old.. #Irritated

I had a hair appointment that was a disaster! The "professional and talented" hair stylist believed he was too important to work on my hair and take his time. Not only did he rush, but he let a training stylist do a lot of the work while I specifically payed and choose him because of his "reputation". Before coming to the apportionment my hair was voluminous with minimal split ends, after the appointment I could not believe the damage that was made. My hair was extremely extremely damaged because of how long the bleach stayed in my hair, over half of my hair was an elastic strings that were fried and embarrassing to look at. After a couple of months that passed I have lost over half the amount of hair and with super short stringy elastic hair strands. I have purchased expensive shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, masks, hair growth treatments, pills, and etc. but nothing will work because you cannot salvage hair that is in its very worst conditions. It will take probably two years to have normal looking hair length and texture. Please be aware that it is not in your best interest to go to a salon where they do not treat your hair with care as they should. The stylists most have forgotten how important hair is to every person. I have cried too much of how I regret ever coming to Ulta Salon at Mesquite to get my hair colored. My hair is in such a terrible condition that it is nearly impossible to hide the damage. I resort to hats and high pony tails, as I am too embarrassed to walk around with my hair down because of how choppy fried stringy ugly my hair strands are in mainly on the top of my hand. In one day they ruined so much.

Im seeing a lot of bad reviews over bad customer service... I will admit that I was in the store for 30 min and did not get asked if I needed help... they all seemed busy stocking and what not and when I asked the manageir if anyone was available to help me she told me to go ask one of the girls around the corner and when I did she said "oh Im with a customer and Im actually going to lunch after this so you need to find someone els..." that kind of made me mad... but honestly Im glad she didnt help me... I finally came across Lilly. And oh boy let me tell you she was amazing!!! I have been using drug store make up all my life and now 22 I wanted to get with the trends other girls my age are doing and spend the little extra on make up. I felt embarrassed to not know anything about the new make up but Lilly made me feel so comfortable and took her time getting to know me and my needs. The brand she recommended me made my face look so pretty and I felt so good to look in the mirror when she did my make up (foundation, concealer and powder)!! Lilly gave me some tips for doing make up and made sure all my questions got answered. She even walked up to the register with me to make sure I got my free gift with my purchas! Lilly is the soul reason I am giving 5 stars! Yes the store needs to work on their other employees and even their managers on how to ALWAYS greet the customer and put them first. Maybe Lilly should be in charge. Again THANK YOU LILLY for making me feel so good and helping me find the best make up for me needs with out pushing the high dollar stuff on me!!

Went yesterday for the first time and will not be returning to this location. The customer service is the worst! Walked in with a friend and no greeting was given. We had a few women who worked there pass us by and not once were we acknowledged. My friend approached one of the ladies working there who rudely held up a finger to her and said she was already helping someone., without even looking at us. Then I asked another sales rep about helping me match my eyebrow color to an Anastasia pencil, but she said she was helping someone else and would be with me after she was done. 25 minutes I stupidly waited for her return and NOTHING. She was nowhere in the store until closing time. At least have the decency to send someone else to help or let me know you will be unable to help me instead of leaving me waiting like an idiot. There were a few ladies near where I was and I overheard them looking for help too and NADA. When I went to pay the cashier looked annoyed and barely glanced up at my friend and I. I will definitely continue to take my money to the Ulta in Firewheel mall and Collin Creek as they always seem more than happy to help.

I love Ulta, I usually shop online but ocasionally I go in person, today I decided to go and I had a bad experience with a cashier. I dont know if she wasnt well informed or if she was just being rude but I tried to return some lashes that I didnt like and didnt use, and she said eyelashes are not returnable because of sanitary reasons. As far as I know if youre not 100% satisfied with your purchase, Ulta lets you return it. I mean if you can return makeup that has been used, its the same thing as lashes so it didnt make sense. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager so I thought that maybe they really didnt return everything, but I called another Ulta and they said that they do allow returns on lashes etc. and that it was weird that they didnt wanted to do a return for me. I went to the Ulta located at firewheel, and the nice lady there returned my items with no problem. I recommend the one at firewheel more because Ive never had a problem plus it looks nicer than the one in mesquite, it might be a little more far for me but customer service is good over there.
