Had previosly ordered blunds, curtains, and draperies with Morgan in that dept. She was patient, professional, and had a smiling personality!! Had to exchange the draperies a week later, stood in line behind 12 parties, only to find out that I was at the wrong register. Was directed to the proper place. Then went to drapery dept. for 2 rods for my re-order. The correct ones were not displayed when a young man named Promise asked if he could help, went to the back and found what I needed. I was very pleased! While waiting for him, another staff member, Erica, approached and asked if she could help. My original bad experience was now totally turned around!!! These three people represent Penneys in the most professional light!! It appears that labor $ are a bigger concern than Customer Service in most of my visits to the store. I arrived yesterday with the intention of getting my hair a platinum blonde. After a bleaching attempt by my stylelist Lauren and many complaints from her about my hair I settled to just do it brown. My stylelist complained the whole time about the state of my hair, making me extremely uncomfortable because I told her I have never gotten it dyed at a salon before and I was nervous. My stylelist had an attitude the whole time and was very condescending. When she finished my hair another stylist came over to tell me my hair looked good and Lauren replied with "it looks better." I will not be going back.

This is my favorite JCPenneys location, which is itself my favorite apparel store. I love the Town East location because of its amazing sales. In February and March, they practically give their long-sleeved shirts away, and in September they practically give their short-sleeved shirts away. And at those times the other JCPenney locations send their clearance merchandise here, which means it has a ton of selection! And its big, so even during other times of the year the selection is great.

" I just got my hair done at Jcpenny Salon with Katrice Thompkins and she is WONDERFUL and very professional and insightful..Im Very pleased with her work and will follow her anywhere.. I felt like no one else was in the room but me and her. She listened , and gave a very homely vibe. Poor phone Customer service, it sucks! First you get no answer, then they pick up but hang up, and finally someone answers and they say that they are busy and cant help you. Really why do yall have a phone to begin with if you arent going to be able to help. I understand you might be busy but why cant you get someone else to help!!!

Sephora completely a wreck!!! The tall black man that works in the makeup area " Sephora " had to go. he makes the whole place sickening.. He is ugly rude, dissent belong there. More like a misfit! If jcpenney does not get rid of him the sephora will close down.

One person at the register and there are 12 people in line. The clerk is moving as slow as molasses; been in line over 20 minutes and nowhere near the front of the line. The clerk in jewelry was rude and wreaked of smoke.
