Truly awesome butcher shop experience here. I go out of my way to get up here when I can. They take pride in their work and have a wonderful "beginning to end" service mentality. The individual that helps you select your meat products often sticks with you the rest of the time until they even check out your purchase and hold the door open for you. Often times they even walk your purchase out to your car. This is one of the only places that carries raw beef femurs and will cut them to your desired size if you want to give them to your pups. They have great other products like pickled veggies and even seafood. If youve never been here, take the trip and check it out.

Id give them six stars if I could! Im very particular about meat and that especially applies to steak. When I walk into almost any grocery store in town and ask for some nice Del Monico cuts, Im usually in for a ten-minute lesson to the meatcutter on what Im asking for. Not at Ainsworth! When I ask for them there, they start reaching for meat. I also love how the same person stays with you and helps you throughout your stay. Great meat all the way around, a huge difference in what you get there versus what you get at the grocery stores. Has a very old-fashioned, "small town" feel I love, as well.

Awesome selection of meats. Best in the Houston Area!!!! To the Google User who didnt identify himself: When you special order anything from anyone; always, always verify your order when picking up. These people would have made the correction right then and there for you. You cant expect anyone to take back especially a meat order once it is out of their hands. There an agency that regulates them and ties their hands in situations like yours. Ever heard of FDA or USDA you dumbass????

I would like to share my experience. They made 50 lbs of special sausage that I had ordered but after picking it up and getting home it was the wrong sausage. Upon calling back the owner Raymond was so rude to me on the phone that I will never buy from him again. He is so short sighted as I could of given him so much more business . Sorry Raymond you lost out, especially in the times we are living one would think everyone could do with more business.

I came in today in search of different meats for my dogs. I feed a raw diet to my dogs and its hard to find a good variety at the grocery store. Everyone was super nice and helpful and I found a ton of good stuff. Great prices. First time there but will definitely be back!

REAL London Broils. Grocery stores try to sell you TEXAS Broils and call them London Broils. Big difference! Thank you Ainsworth for the 25 LBS of meat for our Teen Community Bible Study kids. Wonderful!

Their meat products are great. My only complaint is their butchers/employees dont use gloves when handling their meats. Im sure they wash their hands before handling but its still far better to use gloves.

This place if very nice. Their meat selection is fantastic. We also took our deer there to be processed. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Not the cheapest, but the quality was top notch.
