Im not sure why most everyone has given this tattoo parlor, or at least just the body piercer, a bad review. I did my research extensively before I went to get a third piercing in both ears today, mostly because I just moved to Lubbock, and I honestly finally settled on this shop only because of the cheaper price. I did have to wait for a little while, but when I finally was seen, the shorter brunette lady was a bit rough around the edges but very professional, answered ALL my questions about how to keep my new piercing clean, she showed me that she had cleaned every single needle and everything she used to pierce my ear, and stuff like that. I understand everyone having a different experience when at places and dealing with certain staff members, but I myself will definitely come back to Big Buddha for when I get my tragus piercing or a nose ring done. By the way - this is the best piercing Ive ever had done. She made sure they were straight, which no piercer has done before (when I got my other ear piercings done at Walmart and Claires), it was painless, decently cheap, clean, and like I said she told me every detail on how to take care of them over the next few weeks of healing! But you can form your own opinion. If nothing else, at least do your research, no matter what shop/parlor you choose to get your piercings done at.

Mike is a great artist! He is very professional and friendly, as are his fellow colleagues that I came across as well. The shop is clean, bright (in a good way), and welcoming. I love my tattoo! I called him and spoke with him about my idea first. He asked that I email him my design and was very specific to ask about where I wanted it, the color, and size. Mike was very open and honest as to what to expect and how to properly care for new artwork (tattoos). My appointment went great and I look forward to getting more ink done by Mike.

So I took my girlfriend for her nose piercing on her bday along with one of her friends. My girlfriend and her friend both rate pain a 2/10. Barely a pinch. Alongside Brittany, the piercer was super friendly and professional and did a great job of making it look beautiful and making the process super quick and comfortable! This was their first time so they both recommend that you should definitely ask for Brittany!

Loved my experience here. Mike designed me a tattoo that would cover up my scars, and I love it. I am planning on going back to get another tattoo soon, as I was more then pleased with the work and the desire to really help me out. Amazing place, amazing work, and amazing people!

my husband and I went in to set up an appointment for both of us and they pretty much dismissed us right away saying "oh we cant do that". they were very unprofessional and apparently they did not care for business. we went somewhere else

Brittany just did an amazing job on my taith piercing my inner ear to help woth migaraines i walked in not even able to hold my head up walked out feeling great. She was so friendly so good and so fast. Definitely recommend

Got a tattoo and piercing from here they did good, but the lady there was really rude. It was my first tattoo so I had a lot of questions and she just had a bad, sarcastic attitude. Wouldnt go back

Dont get a piercing here. This chick was very unprofessional and rude. She pierced me twice and both times were crooked. Go to Overtime Tattoo Company and get pierced by April instead.
