I have tried to go to a few tournaments and the tournament organizers never showed up. Texas Battle Bunker is not a very reliable store for events. They make no effort to put on large events or even follow up on organizing events. If an event does actually happen the turnout is minimum (4-6 players) which would be good for those looking to just win or place in tournaments. They have little to no inventory on hand and hardly make an effort to keep things in stock. They, as with most stores, make the argument that they can order you things online and get them in within 2 weeks. Thats funny because an average consumer can not only order stuff online as well but can normally get it in much much sooner than 2 weeks. The space does not feel very clean. They have a lot of fixtures (places to put inventory) but they are all constantly empty. The store feels very cramped on space. Overall it just looks like and feels like a dead and dying store. It has almost no 40k players, very few warmachine players, and a nice base of Magic the Gathering players. Overall it is one of the worst stores in the Houston area. It has SOME potential, it just seems like the people running it have no drive to make it a good hobby store. The "best" stores for gaming in Houston seem to be Fat Ogre which has a nice selection of inventory, plenty of space, and well run events AND Asgard which also has a nice selection of inventory, plenty of space, and well run events.

Horrible hobby store needs employees that know about the products they sell. I was in the store for 30 minutes before someone helped me. unless your going to play magic the gathering go somewhere else. The tournaments if your lucky( and your lucky if they even happen) will have 4-6 players and your playing for in store computer time. The drama of this place is crazy it was like high school. If you like to play computer games go get steam do not come to this place. If you have any skill at playing league of legends the people there will be over your shoulder telling you what you should be doing. Fat Ogre and DNA comics are by far better places to be.

Great place with a friendly atmosphere. I always feel welvomed when I come in. The people running the store are very good at helping newcomers learn a game, and for the computer people there os even a group to help you get better at computer games. The card game side of the shop is mostly mqgoc oriented bit it seems to always be full. I recommend this store to anyone looking to play some games with friendly people.

I went a few times for Friday Night Magic. I was pretty disappointed. The staff wasnt friendly. The event seemed disorganized. I left very unimpressed. I wouldnt go back to play magic. It seems the store is more focused on table gaming and computer games. Maybe it would be a good place for that. Parking was also impossible on Friday Nights.
