Rude. Racist. I could feel the judgment on my back as I walked around the store with my two children. One employee even asked me where the store "demo" (a little car) near me was, as if I might have stolen it. It was right there so he pretended to show us how it worked. Yes, I am brown and yes this area is very affluent, but that doesnt mean I cant shop at your store. Every time I turned around, all the employees were staring at us and talking with tight lips. We heard about this place through a friend and we were very excited to come. If youre going to profile, at least be subtle about it.

Anytime I have a kiddos birthday coming up, I make the trek over to Rice Village to browse their great selection of toys. I find this place to be much more personal that stopping at a larger "big-box" toy store. This place is locally owned and the people that work there are very helpful and genuinely care about customer service - they are more than happy to offer up suggestions when you tell them who youre shopping for. They also offer free gift wrapping, which is a major plus for me. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to find the perfect gift.

My family and I visit this store quite often for birthday gifts -- maybe once or twice a month. However, we will not be back. Our last experience there was terrible. The cashier and manager were extremely rude and gave me so much attitude when I asked for a gift receipt to be included on the gifts I purchased. I have seen this poor level of customer service very rarely and never in a kids store. I do not recommend this place.

Selection is good but not very friendly staff. First time when I walked in they looked at me like what are you doing? Then when I asked questions, the staff quickly pointed to me and walked away. I guess she was busy (it was early in the morning) but it was not pleasant.

Cute little toy store in Rice Village. Small, so you might miss it (its on the corner of Rice and Morning Side. Has some brands you will recognize (Lego), but MANY youll have a hard time finding at bigger stores. Virtually everything here is educational.

nice small shop packed with toys. They have more educational toys rather than action figures and such. Not terribly different from giant chains but still unique. Definitely worth the visit.

They know me when I walk in. Truly a gem of a toy store. Lots of high quality educational toys that promote pretend play. They also have some good sales so get on the email list!

Great selection of stimulating toys and books. I find the staff great for helping find a super book. Robotics toys. Bruder trucks. Marble runs. Lots for little hands to do here.

You will find toys that wont be found at the competitions but way overpriced than I found online sometimes 150% more!
