NOT THE WILLOWBROOK LOCATION! Tran fixed my iPad screen no problem, but damaged the home button in the process. Accidents happen, but instead of acknowledging that a mistake had been made and working to resolve it, I was repeatedly lied to. First, Dao claimed I had done the damage by dropping the iPad and bending the frame, but it worked fine for a month before I took it for repair--and it was never dropped (just stepped on at the end opposite the home button). Then, Tran said the glass they put on was designed for a different home button. Of course, I said they shouldve warned me that to fix my screen they would mess up my home button up front--then I couldve gone somewhere else. But, that was just another false excuse. Now, they are ordering me a new home button, because I wanted either a refund or a serious discount. So, I have to return yet again. Also, I left them with a two pack of screen protectors and asked them to apply one. When my friend returned, she asked for the second and they said it only came with one and the wrapping had been thrown away. Once I realized the home button was messed up, I rechecked my Amazon order. The package had 2 screen protectors! I told Dao, but he didnt respond. Finally, when I was going to leave, I asked for the screen protector again, and they gave it to me without the packaging--so they knew it was there. I asked for the package and was reluctantly given that as well. It wasnt in the trash. If they had told me they messed up one screen protector and had to toss it, I wouldve been ok with that. Like I said, I understand that accidents happen, but theres no need to lie to cheat someone out of a $3 screen protector. I would avoid these shady associates and go somewhere else!

I am very displeased! I had my screen repaired there about 3 weeks ago first I noticed they didnt clean my front camera when they replaced the screen so its very foggy, second I noticed the screen coming apart from the phone and third they didnt even put the 2 screws in that are on both sides of the charging port... On top of all the the lcd is starting to show dead pixels *UPDATE* so after calling and talking to them they promised me they would repair my screen so after going back to the store the employees argued back and forth with me claiming that the reasoning behind they screen popping up was from a swollen battery and they said the same thing would happen if they replaced the screen so I finally told them prove to me the battery is swollen so they opened the phone up and came back to me and I was right the battery wasnt swollen just as I said but some how water magically appeared and then he told once again they wouldnt replace my screen and proceeded to hand me my phone back with out even putting it back together! Thanks Dr cell you really screwed me! I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau

After being informed via email that all of their locations should be able to repair a bad power button on a Samsung Galaxy I brought my phone into the North Houston location. They said Id have to take it to the Galleria location because thats the only place that would have the part. No biggie. The next day I go to the Galleria location, describe the problem and they say "oooh, that will require soldering. we cant guarantee anything that involves soldering". That sets off a flag but I figure they cant make it any worse so I authorize the work. Two hours later I come back and they tell me the power button problem is really a software issue and not hardware related. Seriously? Either they cant tell the difference between a hardware and a software problem or they have no confidence in their soldering abilities. A good indication that a button is stuck is when the phone powers on the second you plug a battery into it. Software isnt even a factor at that point, but according to these guys it is. At least they didnt charge me for the bad diagnosis.

Here is the story. Ill make it quick. Dec,22,2015 I dropped my Moto X on tile and broke the LCD not the Guerrilla Glass.. That afternoon my wife drops her phone an LG G2 in the driveway shattering the glass and ruining the touch screen. the LCD was fine. So, on the 23rd we brought in the phones to Dr. Cell Phone and 2 hrs later we got them back in perfect working order. We drive to visit relatives for Christmas and come home on the 26th and my wife drops her phone again. The next day we bring it in to another location in the woodlands. They see that we have just replaced two screens and give us a deep discount on her screen and recommended an Otter Box case for her phone. Both locations were nice and worked fast. My only recommendation is to call first to make sure they have your screen in stock.

I had my phone screen (glass and LCD) replaced here in April 2015. I was overall satisfied until a week ago when a dark spot appeared on my screen. It has slowly spread further onto the screen since then, so I went back to Dr. Cell phone to ask what they thought it was. The man working told me I need a new screen and that it was not covered because 6 months is supposedly a "really long time". I had this phone for 2 years before bringing it to them and it needs a new screen already? I have a galaxy s3 and it is probably the cheapest to fix and was still 175 dollars. Next time I will buy a new device before ever considering Dr. Cell phone again.

I took my Motorola in for a cracked screen. I never heard a word and started calling 7 days later. They told me they had ordered the screen and would call me when it came in. They never called. I called and called and could not get a straight answer. Finally I had to go to the Wesleyan store (I had dropped it at the FM1960 store) and they told me they had broken my phone and would have to order me a new one. Five weeks and multiple calls later I get a "new" phone without any of my saved information nor my sim card. Lost everything. The owner would never return my calls. Good Luck using them!

So let me tell you guys what happened to me. I took my phone to Dr. Cell Phone on FM 1960 and they charge me to get a diagnosis on my phone. (35$ or something like that) I thought that was ridiculous. However I paid because I was desperate to get my phone fixed. They said that they check the charging port, the screen, and the battery. I took it back the store the store I bought and they were able to fix it by getting me a new battery. Now I am not saying that I was JANKED (well may I am lol) but something is not right here. Any who carry on with your day. I just thought I tell my story

At 1st they had great service until my phone fell on carpet and broke. When I looked closely they had not installed the screen correctly and refused to fix my iphone 6 that I paid 200 dollars to fix. Took my iPhone 6 to apple they fixed it for half the price and confirmed they installed the screen wrong. Never going to dr cell phone again. I strongly recommend not going just go to apple they said they get a lot of dr cell phone customers coming with the same issue I had.
