A phone call is all it took to know they are not worthy of my business. I called with cash on hand and the intent to buy a Porsche. A condescending, short tempered man by the name of Rene answered the phone. I politely asked two questions, #1, if the car was available (said yes) and #2, the name of the owner (I like to know who im buying from). Most owners and managers PROUDLY give their name because they take pride in putting their name on their vehicles, apparently this isnt the case here. His response, in an arrogant tone, was "It doesnt matter, this place is new". I was awestruck with his response. Just like that, he lost a sale. For the record and the managers information, I only asked for the name because I had a not so great experience with a guy named "Don" and wanted to make sure it wasnt the same Don, thats, it. Most likely it wasnt the same guy and I wouldve proceeded to drive to their location and drive out in one of their vehicles. Not anymore.

I found a 2005 Toyota 4Runner on the Don Auto World site that I thought would be an appropriate first car for my teenager. Had a great experience with Rene, who was very helpful, as well as Basil and Eric. These guys are trying to run an honest car business. The truck was in overall pretty good shape. Since we got such a good deal on it, they werent really willing to budge on some repairs that needed to be done, but I understood that. You have to know what youre dealing with in used cars. If youre getting a great deal (especially on a truck like this at its age), you have to assume responsibility for some of the needed maintenance and repair work. They also offered free oil changes for a year, which is nice. Overall a good buying experience, and I would recommend them. My kid loves his truck, and Im happy to have put him in a reliable vehicle thatll be solid for years to come.

I was VERY hesitant about going to a dealership as I have recently had a VERY bad experience. However, Don Auto World DEFINITELY changed my mind. They have great cars at great prices, clean waiting area & shop, family run , & great customer service!!! Rene helped my family & I with our purchase. He was straight up & very friendly, even with the kids. He showed us the carfax on the vehicle we were looking at, let us test drive, & even stayed opened a bit longer for us. We didnt feel like we just dollar signs to him, he made us feel comfortable with our decision & answered any questions we had. If you have had a bad experience in the past with shady dealers, please give Don Auto World a try. You wont be disappointed. I will & already have recommended them to friends & co-workers & will go back to them when I am looking for another vehicle!!!

WE were highly recommended by some friends to check out this new Dealer and THANK GOD WE DID!!!!!!!!!! I spoke with WAYNE the Operations Manager and he ensured us that BASIL, the General Manager and also called "DONE DEAL" would stay past closing and wait for us since we were driving all of the way from GALVESTON. Belal the Porter greeted us and got us to Basil who recommended us to take our time on the test drive while he prepared the paperwork and wasnt pushy since we already agreed to a price over the phone. THEY Definitely went ABOVE and BEYOND and I highly recommend everyone to go see BASIL or WAYNE. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP WITH MY NEW JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE I AM SO IN LOVE WITH!!!!!!!!!! These guys are liars. they sold me a car, then when the bank called and asked about the car, i told them it had a check engine light on. I didnt realize that this would cause them to return the loan. by the time the dealership called me, and told me to call the bank, they had already returned the loan. Which means that the contract i signed was voided by the bank. i took the car back to them, and they refused to return my 2k down payment. oh, did I mention that they threatened to call the police if i said the word lawyer too many times? STAY AWAY they basically stole 2k from me. edit: Just because someone leaves you a bad review, doesnt mean its bogus or fake; no matter how many times you reply with it.

Awesome customer service & really nice looking dealership. They allow you to test drive on your own & get a feel for the vehicle your interested in. The mechanics are really cool, fast and work on your car before you pick it up to take it off the lot. Sales rep Rene is a really friendly guy and makes you feel good about your purchase, no hassle/ gimmicks kind of seller. He gives you details about the vehicles and is straight up. Great dealership with great deals on cars!

Vehicle had over $6,000 of repairs needed for undisclosed repairs required to the suspension and braking systems. Unsafe vehicle as sold, truly a death trap. It is impossible that dealer did not know of the faulty systems and the dangerous condition of the vehicle prior to selling it, but advertised and sold as being in great condition. Buy elsewhere, save your money and maybe your life.

Fraud Fraud Fraudulent Company! They are LIARS and will take your money unauthorized then lie about refunding it. They are unprofessional and untruthful! BEWARE of this company! The manager actually claimed he refunded my money THEN threatened to reverse the refund if my husband didnt remove his negative Google comment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
