Im sure that this store is great for general feed and seed, but they also sell small animals (such as rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, etc). Buyer BEWARE!!! I purchased 2 guinea pigs with all the accessories (a purchase worth over $150.00) and exactly 9 days later one of the guinea pigs died in his sleep. According to the store manager, these animals have never been examined by a veterinarian. Had I known that before I purchased them, I wouldnt have bought them there. Horrible customer service when I called to explain what happened, and I was accused of mistreating the animal. I asked for a refund of $15 (the cost of the one guinea that died) and was told no because they have a 24-hour return policy. The incubation period for many diseases that guinea pigs are subject to is 5-10 days, so a 24-hour return policy makes no sense. Clearly, this guinea pig was sick when we left the store. DO NOT BUY ANIMALS FROM THIS STORE!

This is the.FIRST time i have EVER experienced careless customer service. I didnt get the girls name but she had parts of her hair blue and her phone attached to her hand the whole time i was in there followed by an i dont give a care attitude. I used to live in haltom city and grew quite fond of the staff, as well as their products. Now i drive over an hour away to STILL go to my favorite feed and supply store. However this has been cut due to the above mentioned employee, who not only argued with me on what to feed MY pets, but sold me the wrong rat. I asked for a specific thing for a specific reason. I dont.care if you "used to own a reptile rescue" what happened to it as to y u have to work in a feed store?...,. YOU FAILED thats what happened, im returning to haltom city tomorrow to make a formal complaint with your boss. You my friend have caused harm to one of my family pets by simply NOT following the customers direction

We always go here for all our animal and yard needs. They have a great variety of dog food thats a better deal than Wal-Mart. They carry the things i need for my yard from plants and seeds to to grass seeds and flea and tick meds . They also carry animals like chickens, rabbits , snakes , mice etc. People here are super friendly and it feels like you go back in time when things were simple and people were genuinely nice. I love it here. .

Prices are pretty high here...They should not be allowed to sell pets here animals are in poor condition and they do not look healthy at all. Rats that are in 10 gallon tanks for all there lives just to breed tell they die.Sad environment for these creatchers .The turtles and tortoises looked very unhealthy too. Just sad. The feed here is a ok price thats the only thing I buy here....

Ive been a happy customer for years. The employees almost always teach you tips and techniques for any project or even if you ask about a certain feed or item they tell you what to get and why to get it with references as to where they got the information. I will be a steady and a happy customer for more years to come.
