This place is a must-stop on the way to or from Dinosaur World. We noticed the hand-written "Just Stop" sign on the way to Dino World and agreed we would stop by on the way back to the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the owners friendliness and wealth of knowledge related to fossils; He is a professional dinosaur-hunter and is very entertaining to talk to. He is great with kids too.

There is a impressive collection of local geology for sale here. The owner of the place is quite friendly, can be found sitting at the roadside during slow moments in the shop and waving at passing drivers, and has great stories to tell. He also will take people on a fossil collecting trip for a small fee.

Owner is extremely friendly. He has a large selection of quartz, petrified wood, fossils & just about anything you are looking for. I made several trips in the few weeks I visited the area & found something new everytime. I love the large Amethyst I bought. Its the centerpiece of my collection.

The owner is awesome! We spent quite a while talking to him before poking around the shop. Hes been some cool places and has lots of neat fossils in there for reasonable prices. We stopped on our way back from visiting Dinosaur World, we got our souvenirs at Stone Hut for cheaper!
