Sorely disappointed.... I visited this place after receiving a flyer in the mail. Im rather a watch "snob" if you will and had a Tag Heuer Chrono Carrera that I needed sized correctly - a 5 minute job at best. This was my first time visiting this establishment as I have recently moved to the area from Seattle. Upon entering, I was quickly greeted by a gentleman asking what I needed help with. I informed him that I would like to see if they were able to size my watch. He inquired if I had purchased it from them, to which I replied "no, I didnt" (its just a watch sizing - really?). He stated that since I didnt they would be unable to perform this outrageous feat for me. I replied with, "So if I had an interest in purchasing an IWC Portuguese or a Hublot Big Bang, would the answer be any different?". He replied, "Im sorry, its what the owners insist upon". I politely thanked him for his time and left. What he (or the owners) fail to realize is that in the state of the current economy, luxury buys are at a decline. While I may have been inquiring about a simple bracelet adjustment, Im still a customer..... who can also be a critic or an evangelist, take your pick. Shortly before leaving, he also informed me that "While we may not be busy right now, we could have 20 people walk in the door at any minute. You can leave it with us and probably pick it up this time tomorrow if youd like." (Hello? Am I not a customer??) I again thanked him for his time and left...... and went straight to Ben Bridge Jewelers inside of Stonebriar Mall. Upon entering Ben Bridge, I inquired the same way as before, and was politely answered with, "absolutely, we can do that while you wait." I paid $25 for sizing (which was probably on the high side), but it was incredible service with a smile. While I was waiting, I had noticed that Rolex has recently come out with a larger DateJust II model that was more appealing to me. In the 5 minutes that I was waiting for my watch to be resized, I tried on a beautiful black faced DateJust, roman numerals with an oyster band...... and purchased it. Perhaps had the fine people at Markham Jewelers provided the same level of support, I may have purchased the IWC that Ive been interested in. Instead Ill look elsewhere. Great job missing out on a $7K sale, Markham Jewelers!! Cliff notes - snooty staff, doesnt want your money.

Horrifying. I went into this store very excited to shop for a special piece of jewelry for my 5th anniversary. The salesman I spoke to was very condescending and awful. He kept asking me what my SO did for work and if he was buying this for me or i was just ‘scouting’ things out. Very invasive questions, way outside the boundaries of casual polite conversation. When i told him i am a stay at home mom, he asked me ‘what i did all day’ and if i ‘just shop at jewelry stores and nordstroms.’ I informed him i have school aged children, to which he then said ‘so you have 6-7 hours all by yourself? what do you do? that must be ALOT of cleaning.’ i was shocked and disgusted by his questions. When i left the store a huge wave of disgust, shock and embarrassment hit me that this salesman had spoken to me in such a manner. I called my SO who immediately called the store and spoke to the store manager who deeply apologized. I would never recommend this business to my friends and family. Given the demographics of Frisco, I am not sure what this salesman was doing insulting a stay at home mom when half the population here is a mix of stay at home moms and working mothers. Very unprofessional and insulting. Stay way. If you are looking for upscale beautiful jewelry go to Bailey Banks and Biddle instead they are semi professional and have beautiful statement pieces. Unlike this place, you will be treated like a human being!

Look, there are people with incredibly high standards, and then theres me. I am obsessive about details, probably borderline diagnosable. In fact, Im a designer by trade, so someone actually pays me to assess and create beautiful objects. You can probably just imagine how insane I was when deciding on a shop that was going to create the single most meaningful and symbolic object in my life - the engagement ring for my beautiful sister. Long story short, l went to Markham Fine Jewelers after interviewing a handful of other shops. They were awesome from the start. They are incredibly detailed, honest and transparent about the process and materials used. They didnt screw around on price - no up sale - no pressure. They went the extra mile several times to provide outstanding service. Look, just stop looking. Thats my point. Youve found the best jeweler in town. Go to Markham. They get it. As for me, the insane gal who isnt ever happy with anything. They delivered, the first time, when the stakes were huge. Ill never go anywhere else for jewelry.

This place is fantastic! I dropped by a couple of days ago to have some minor work done on my watch and these folks were very knowledgeable and efficient. While my watch is being fixed, I was doing a bit of window shopping and I started digging into their prices for some very rare watches that they carry. They were able to come up with some phenomenal offers for me, I was this close to making an on the spot unplanned purchase without ever having planned to do that in the first place. However, long story short, I chose not close the deal at that point because I wasnt ready. I was really impressed with their customer service and a very appreciative of the fact that they spent a lot of time answering a lot of my questions despite me not having purchased anything from them. I will definitely return here in the future for all my watch and jewelry needs. Go and meet Mark the Asst. Manager and he will hook you up.

These guys are the REAL DEAL!! We visited this jewelry store on two occasions. We actually planned on buying from another Jewelers down the street but it did not work out and...we can honestly say we could not be more pleased on our end result. I must say Julie sold it for us....her warm, inviting personality, attentiveness to detail, never making the customer feel as if they have to be impulsive yet allowing us the time to choose what we really wanted. She is very knowledgeable and has a ton of patience for the customers uncertainty :)...thank you for that Julie. Upon our two visits to the store, other patrons we spoke with had been coming here for years... we knew we have found the best jewelers. We both would highly recommend their products and services to anyone who believes in quality and great customer service. Michael & Elizabeth, newly engaged July 19, 2014.

This was the first time I went into this store. I went in to Markhams to see if they could repair the damaged prong on my wifes engagement ring. Their master jeweler came down and took the time to show me that part of the problem was caused because her Scott Kay mounting had been set with the wrong kind of pronged/head to begin with from the original store I bought it from. It wasnt just that the repair was just done right & perfectly at Markhams, but that their jeweler also buffed & polished her ring (for free). The proper pronged head made all the difference and it looks better now that it did when I originally gave it to my fiance (now wife)! It was nice to feel like my small repair was given so much care and attention. Service like that is rare.
