We were wanting to sell a gold necklace that my wife found uncomfortable and never wore, but our local jeweller wouldnt buy it because he "couldnt verify the gold content", but if he could, the "spot price" was $600. Drove 45 minutes up to Gillespie Fine Jewelers in Dallas after seeing all the reviews, and within 5 minutes we had $850 in cash. No muss, no fuss. Very nice, pleasant discussion with the owner, in a beautiful store. Next time I need to buy (or sell) jewelry, thats where Ill go.

What a pleasant “gem” to find in a strip shopping center. I went in to sell some gold and ended up having one of my pieces re-designed by the very talented owner. Not only was I given a fair price for what I was selling (I checked several places) but I was made to feel very comfortable and welcomed. I really like to shop local and Gillespie Jewelry reminded me how much I like the personal touch.
