I never write reviews, but I was so annoyed by these bad ones that I had to. This is the thrift store ( this isnt Macys people) above all others for me, so when I looked up the hours today and saw all the complainers about prices and whatnot on Google, I was worried they had changed on me in 6 months! Not the case at all. First thing, there are restrooms and they are not new... by any stretch. There are signs to them. If they were non operational for a time, they are fully functional now. Have I had crappy experiences with staff over the years, totally. To the point that I was about steaming. Is it worth it to me, YES! Today everyone was friendly and awesome, but I have had a few that really left me with a bad taste. The fact that I can find brand new Banana Republic pants or Ann Taylor Loft... saw some Dolce & Gabanna today... for next to nothing more than makes up for digging and bad attitudes. Someone was complaining and moaning about 14.99 pair of jeans... well the fact is almost ALL pants are 7 bucks or less, but they do have some people in the back that understand value and when it is a brand new pair (WITH TAGS half the time due to the affluent University Park right next door!) of a designer brand that would cost you $100 in the store, really, stop your bellyaching! Value is value. The money goes to disabled veterans and you get a ridiculously good deal. Come on people. OH and if you have a military ID, you get an extra 25% off. I have never, ever left without something I couldnt believe I just scored for the price and a smile on my face. Ignore the haters and dig for treasure.

I understand the appeal of this place, its big. Its spacious. They have a lot of stuff. Thats great! But as someone who thrifts A LOT, I am tempted to cross this off my list entirely. The prices have gotten too high for me. I understand they get some good stuff, name brands maybe. But when I can go around the corner and get the same type of clothes for half the price, I cant justify shopping here. I find stuff I like here, but when I see the price, Im always disappointed. Id rather shop at a smaller store that has great prices. Ive also heard that only 1% of their sales go to support Veterans. Thats still good! Its not as good as everyone assumes.

This store has been great for years. Not as clean add is like, but you cant have everything. They have a fabulous furniture section and are really organized in the clothing section. The staff are always friendly and the dressing rooms are much tidier than they used to be. There is huge linens area and, for those who sew, a large section of fabric. The household goods can be sketchy and the small appliance area is frequently a disaster, but we always look anyway. Never know, right? Toys... meh. Same with the luggage.

I dont feel like writing too much...but holy cow the prices can be INSANELY HIGH. They have such visibility on Garland Rd., that everyone goes here because its the only thirft store they know. So they feel like they can charge whatever they want. OR they think theyll have sales to even it out. But ya know? I want want to have to come back on a certain day of the week to try to get a sale. how about low prices ALL the time? dont insult me. $14.99 for a pair of used pants is ridiculous.

I do not go here allot...... but buyer beware, a little pricey BUT youll find some treasures you will not normally find everywhere else,..... one warning to buyers ....... make absolutely sure that your item is clearly marked..... THEY WILL TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU, AND REFUSE TO SELL IT TO YOU. and good lord help you if the tag looks a little worn (see above LOL) It has happened to me two times in 15 years "little embarrassing" :(

Very high prices on mens shirts ! Almost retail wtf? $8 to $15 for some used shirts ? Really? They are $20 at ross brand new and can be returned if necessary! Also you will never find any color tag with the discount they remove them, believe it! I looked at the whole rack maybe 3 ripped or stained shirt with discounted tags out of 400 .BS.

Ive been thrifting for over 10 years now therefore Ive been to ALOT of thrifts stores. This is one of my favorites. I usually always walk out with some good finds for relatively low prices. I like how clean and organized they keep the store, my shopping a lot easier and less stressful. The staff is friendly too. Highly recommend this location!

I purged many bags of good things here. Very sweet people who work here. As with all thrift stores its hit or miss on finding good stuff but at least theres the chance of a hit. I got cheap frames, sanded them down, then painted them black. They look super sleek. Helped me sell some paintings.

I like the selection and bigness of this place! its big and it doesnt smell awful! Its usually crowded and its pretty pricey. Like, very pricey. The large amount of stuff is the draw here, so they jack the prices some. Meh. Thats up to you, but I prefer the smaller, cheaper places.

Looking for good used clothing and a discount for seniors? This is a great place to shop. I just recently purchased a brand new suit that fit me perfectly for $35. Some really fine quality clothing and items that one may need. I also purchased a tie rack for just a few bucks.

This place is friggin great. I always find way too much cool stuff like interesting t-shirts or shoes. I am always finding Vans out of my size here. Teacher/student discount on Tuesdays and Thursdays and discounts other days as well. One of my fav thrift shops in DFW.

Its a good place but it should lower its prices. Everything they have is donated by the wonderful community....why are they trying to sell it as if it is new?! If they sold everything for a dollar they would make a killing and still have left overs!

when i was 12 or 13 I came here with my 3 yr old sister. I was in aisle and a guy exposed himself to me. Had to get police involved.. it was terrible. Watch your kids if you go to this place. Please, lots of sketchy people.

Will not donate or shop here after the disrespect they have shown to their customers, especially the very pregnant woman who needed a restroom. If you are taking money from the public you should provide a bathroom.
