I went to the store at hwy 121 & main in West Plano. I ordered a chair that took six weeks to build, why I dont know because it is horrible $1750 for a chair with lumbar support. I called the salesman 2 weeks after I received it ( was out of town for 1 week) It took the salesman a week to get back to me then he said I would have to call Lazyboy customer service. Or if I didnt like the chair I could return it for 15% restocking fee and another pickup delivery charge. I called customer service and have been getting the run a round for 2 months. They sent a third party company that does chair repairs out to look at the chair and decided to add padding to basicly the entire chair to correct it - brand new chair and they are going to patch it. I have called the customer service supervisor 3 times and she has never called me back, the store manager again will not return call. The chair seat is suppose to be 20.5 inches deep but is 24. Im short - that wont work. The chair in the store is 20.5 deep. The chair arms are different sizes - more padding they say. Ive had lazyboy furniture before and liked it but this chair is a piece of junk. And their customer service is lousy. No one answers their phone so you have to leave a message and they just dont return it. I asked for the corporate office address and Angel at customer service refused to give it to me, I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused to put me through then hung up on me. DONT BUY LAZYBOY UNTIL THEY GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

Pros - Extremely comfortable furniture Good prices if you can net a sale (got mine for 25% off) Well made and modular (my sofa can disassemble) Cons - Customer service is poor (after the purchase especially) Delivery only occurs on 3 days in any given week (Wed, Fri, Sat) It takes 2 - 3 months to build and deliver the furniture you order There wasnt much wrong with the buying process in the store, the gentlemen I worked with were friendly and answered my questions as best they could. 8 - 12 weeks to deliver a sofa seems like a lot, but theirs is the most comfortable Ive found. While scheduling a delivery, however I found that folks were not so friendly. Im not sure who I spoke with at the store during this time, but they were very rude on the phone - especially after I had delivery rescheduled. Luckily the delivery guys were nice, and set the thing up quick. It took about 10 weeks to receive the furniture, so I cant complain about being right in the middle of their expected time. All in all, Im still satisfied with the sofa I bought. Ill explore other options before I come back to La-Z-Boy next time, but this wont completely ruin their next chance. -JF

Ordered a reclining chair and was given a date for pick up 3 weeks away but never received a call to pick up. When I called they said end of December it would be here then I called them on 2 Jan they called me back on 5 Jan to tell me that it will not be ready until Mid Feb so basically a 2 month wait after already received the full payment. Supposedly, they did not have the parts and the leather to fabricate it...some crap like that. Mine was not a special order, just a regular chair and I have to wait two months or even more they said!!!! Their supply chain management is ridicules, they only manufacture once you order it seems they never carry any stock. I would never buy from them again.

Very POOR customer service. There was no one above store manager to talk to when the store manager was unable to fix things. It really is a shame, because they have great products, but that does you no good if they cant get the furniture to you. I was promised 2 weeks but after 6 weeks of waiting and an untold number of lame excuses, I finally canceled my order. If the upper management of this company were remotely accessible, then their business would be much higher because as I said ... their products are good ... service and delivery non so much. I will be using a competitor from here on out.

Classic case of getting the sale only to have horrible customer service. I wanted to pick up the recliner only to find out that the phone is in a warehouse on the other side of town with no one to answer it. They come right out and say on the answering machine not to expect a call any earlier that 24 hours later. Wow! How can anyone stay in business with this kind of customer service. I am looking to ask for a refund and find another outlet for my purchase.

Good, quick service. Salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding the best chair for my needs. Absolutely the best recliner I have purchased in my life. If you want quality, La-Z-Boy is the way to go. I would recommend making several visits to the store before you make your final decision. You will be glad you did.

I needed a part for my recliner. I called them and they had it in stock. They gave me directions to get to the store. I drove there showed them the broken part they handed me the replacement at no cost because you know life time guarantee. We chatted for a bit. Friendly people. Good service. Whats not to like?

Worst furniture ever. Almost $7,000 for a sofa and two chairs and they are terribly made. Their customer service is terrible, if I didnt have so much money invested in this furniture Id throw it out. Stay away.

Furniture is comfortable but not sure if a recliner is worth paying $2000-$3000 on sale. Could use better fabrics for that price imo.
